maybe a surprise at todays shatting... apparently we have a leash trained chicken who. may be a visiting "performer"-- we are sorely lacking in chickens- and await the carpenters creation of our portable coop... aka horseracing jog cart- redone..by last count ( yesterday) we have one lone guinnea hen running about the yard.... eating ticks...

july 4th and thanksgiving-- are the designated dates for the entire population of the USA  are trained to go somewhere else...the goal is to be able to say to friends " i had to sit in the airport for 17 hours"  when they could have stayed home and cleaned the cellar- then go where they wanted to go one week before or after. with no delay.

 when my kids were young we did not do the "shopping thing" til January and even very young they got the idea they could buy twice as much for the same money in January. besides with all those donkeys, we had constant jobs from t'day til christmas. -- the 8 donkeys had antlers- and we hauled Santa all around Boston.

i did go look at route 95---- all of Boston is going to maine--- and all of maine will be spending the holiday on the esplanade in Boston. it is very crowded on 95.  

i can not believe how regular the "dd's opened" is every day-- pretty regular 1410 people open this fool thing. and a bunch pass it on... per constant comment

sometimes it is clever.. i am afraid today is not one of them.

i am still on bathtub lifting mode...
