 sept 30 2023

What a delightful mail call we had last night—with the Colorado bunch.. they arrived with a 40+foot stock trailer with 23 donkeys happily in it... with hay and water it is really a barn- and they chewed their way across Indiana, ohio and new York without missing a mouthful.. we turned them into the donkey “cafĂ©” area- and they quickly located the patches of sand I had made there long ago for rolling purposes....all 23 then ran the fences just to be sure there were no holes to investigate- and came back to argue with our white goats over the hay piles...the people involved are delightful and made our mail call a breath of fresh air... with their stories of pack burro racing--- which is hardly a race but “an accomplishment”. Their donkeys are  a mixture of sizes as small as the ones I drove... like 32 inches tall—all the way up to  a few mamouth size.  14 hands ( or 14 x 4 = 56 inches tall...). for pleasant traveling.  they carry , on the side of the trailer ( as I used to too). Flat fencing which can be attatched  in a circle to the end of the trailer – which lets them out to move and roll during their overnight stops. He pointed out how much hay... and water,,, they had gone thru on the trip... well lets put it the other way,----, the hay and water that had gone thru them ---that needed to be shifted by wheelbarrow to our manure pile....

After a jaunt to the friend of janine’s that is putting them up for the few day s—they appeared back here 5 pm.  to feed and check on the animals—and have some fun at mail call...then supper made extra special by the birthday cake and pies which arrived in the mail..

\we are opff to a good start--- and are due to accumulate on Winthrop street shortly after 7

My panic of the day is that the hitch on the trailer I am assigned to is the one we had trouble with a few days ago—bob... brilliant guy ... from country motors said it would be fine after he soaked it in slippery goo... I sure hope so –my assignment is to transport 8 goats to the start--- a fallacy in itself because I know we have 4 with horns and 5 white ones.------- 4+5 was never. 8 in my school. But who’s counting.?

I will carry my phone with me –with hopes someone will figure out how to post the activities live...or something..

Let us pray-----

And thank you all for the Bail money we may need as we run the whole episode down memorial drive  in boston/Cambridge tomorrow at 11am.....

 sept 29 2023

I am 2 cups of coffee into the day--- off and running...\

Turns out this working at home bit means GWEN HASTO BE WORKING THIS MORNING  FROM THE UPSTAIRS OF THIS “GUEST CABIN”  AND  CAN NOT HELEP WITH THE MOVEMEMNT OF THE DONKEYS FROM HERE TO MERIDITH...  I SURE HOPE OTHER PEOPLE COME TO HELP- BECAUSE MY JOB DESCRIPTION IS ONLY TRUCK DRIVER AND BACKER UPPER... AND AT NOON THAT TURNS  TO “COOK”

IT IS NICE TO HAVE A WHOLE DIFFERENT THOGHT PROCESS OF GWEN’S IDEAS--- WE HAVE  RESOLVED MANY OF THE WORLD PROBLEMS ALREADY .. IF THEY WOULD ONLY LISTERN TO US, WE WOULD BE ALL SET.—I THINK OUR BASIC --- EDUCATION IN THIS COUNTRY IS GEARED TO CREATE COLLEGE PROFESSORS- FROM A COLLECTION OF CHILDREN WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY DISCIPLINE FROM THEIR PARENTS—WHO THEN COMPLAIN THAT THE KIDS SHOULD GET ALL “A’s “and batter the teachers to the point of  no one wants to be a teacher because they no longer teach...

Along with no one wants to be a doctor – for other reasons---and new younger police are hard to find—for similar reasons. Down to  a plumber will only plumb if he can find someone from guatamala to  dig the holes and find the pipes.

As opposed to .... when I went to Scotland--- you entered the classroom of 300 kids—the professor walked in and talked for 45 minutes... walked out and you were on your own.... no hand holding---  you got it or you didn’t – mostly I didn’t... because they graduate from high school with the equivalent of a college degree--- then they go on..... I had some serious running to be any wheres near up to parr.

So where does that leave us?? Letting in more people who are willing to actually work?

From fugen....ARE YOU GOING TO USE EXTRA FUNDS FROM HENNY PENNY BOARD, OR OTHER WAY? LET US KNOW , WE WILL BUY MORE BRICKS FOR HENNY PENNY IF HENNY PENNY EXTRA DONATIONS WILL BE USED FOR THE TIPI.

The HENNY UPDATE----. We need  a posting of. “Every penny of the henny???” on the Welcome board of the fundraiser----

It will never be 100% CPA correct... but it will be close.  And we are still in transition a bit.......so please hang in. there !!

You all seem to be doing great with the hay expense--- we use 8 to 10 bales a day—pretty close to $100 a day --- As of today  $3411... in the hay department.... so $411 will spill over into the part of Goldy which covers the senior visits--- because so often the hay trips involve going to senior places in Newburyport, Salisbury and Amesbury—almost on the route of the . “HAY” trips. ....

And my big expense of that senior project is a new hitch on my “donkey trailer”- of all things.... I had it “serviced “ and washed... and now that hitch from 1993 is not functioning correctly ---- kind of critical--- plus I can’t tow it to the repair place- so I may have to get a lowbed trailer—we have 6 senior places now expecting hooved animals--- or something--- and all excited about more than dogs.. I need that trailer... I have animals.....

Even tho carly filled in with her “house chicken” on her shoulder at the NEC kids day care---70 kids seen that day !  I slept in the car... in the sun... with the dogs... not too difficult—and “enriched 70  children”

So back to the tipi (veteran) expenses--- we already have about $1800 in the tipi project designated fund..

Keep in mind tipi is not only the physical tipi, but all things associated with getting that project operational... I hear rumors of “level ground”. Which is beyond shoveling... meaning tractor... and sand? Things like that. I will certainly keep you informed... I consider the $10 donating public a sort of “board of directors”for all this... – I appreciate suggestions and read all the ones that are 25 words or less....( I read very slowly)

For those needing a “flow chart” ERN and SDP both have individual charity numbers and financial accounting..

Goldys farm (AKA Crazy Acres) is an official charity also which funds Seniors. Veterans, plus farm expenses...

Ok... how should I treat the expense of plowing snow- which benefits all of us... including my pizza delivery????

It ain’t easy--- and it is not worth hiring an expensive CPA to figure out what is debatable anyway.

OK.... now is Thursday--- rest up day..... a preparation day- because Friday 5am coffee with gwen--- morning shifting all our donkeys to meridith - about 4 miles away—with the only truck and trailer available == ford 350 and the big 3 horse slantload....big.. long... expensive – then afternoon produce a meal for 30 – location of eating , yet to be decided upon ?meridith? if so moving meal to a yet undisclosed location???  How about bagging and using the souixvie heater in a cooler to keep warm....– or really big pan of water....?

?Saturday? when you run an episode like this 12 mile donkey walking. You need to have zero assignment....as “floaters”. Someone who can do everything that can go “off”—number one floater will be Janine--- second Elizabeth--- but I probably come in about third floater with Rebecca to do the running...

So that is where we are ... AT...

Back to enjoying rest up day....

 sept 27 2023

THE DONKEYS HAVE LEFT COLORADO--  two trucks. 22 donkeys and I don’t know how many people— I already have the hay for the 22 donkeys......except I was told to prepare to feed 30 people dinner..on Friday night..   I ain’t no chef—as we all know....

30 people--- SO---- if I go by my “how to feed an unknown dog, which is ---” feed ½ the size of their head.”....probably about a bit more than 1 cup------so we are talking  at least 1 cubic foot of food for 30......

Therefore the physics of raising the temp of the middle of the cubic foot to above 165 degrees( in the case of chicken)  must be addressed... furthermore--- any pot full of anything will take FOREVER if it is more than about 8 inches deep.

So.....i will start with 2 big pots on the stove—--- plus an electric fry pan to get the chicken up to  something more than refrigerator temp.. as I cut it- put it in the fry pan for a few minutes as I cut up the next bunch of chicken( thighs- because white meat shreds to near zero in a stew.)adding to the alternating pots also on high.. add quickly the small carrots uncut so they become the faux thermometer--- you need liquid... so....add at least on quart box  of chicken stock ( or veggie stock if that is what you have.) to a level of nearly covering whatever is in the pot...— lots of onions cut up somehow. ---I do buy the small potatoes and cut them all in half--- after that ... anything goes... like anything the store has already cut up--- peppers, squash ,those sweet potatoes spaghetti like things...keeping the fluid just below  contents—it will make more fluid as it goes along. it should be kept on slow gurgle for about 2 hours after which  you can add a frozen package  of corn  and peas ( for color)—test a carrot--- should be nearly soft- cooked—if you have a thermometer that would be the correct thing to do... at least 165 in the middle.. you now have chicken soup--- now comes  the tricky part....

I use a bottle of ken’s honey mustard salad dressing to each pot--- it is still soup.... but you want to glue the  flavors of the soup to the contents better..  To do this ... put ¼ cup of corn starch ( it comes in a yellow plastic container) in a glass—add water while stirring with a fork... it will be stiff—then all of a sudden turn to  loose liquid.... pour that into the chicken soup slowly while stirring—and repeat until you get the consistency of stew...not soup.... and you will have glued the flavors to the  pieces of stew... much better....  ( flour does work but not as efficiently) cover on warm til people eat it.

Now the veggie version .  I start the veggie after I get the chicken set on gurgle – it is identical  minus the chicken and use veggie stock for liquid.. and for heavens sake  don’t use the same spoon in both pots... veggies do not approve of contamination.

Another emergency liquid solidifier is—if you notice too liquid early..... you can add a handful or two of rice--- or if it is last minute those instant potatoes will absorb  moisture too...  but that corn starch works best.

And.... because in these deals you never know just who will arrive and eat what, better clean out the refrigerator to accept  a huge pot of leftovers—which could also be frozen nicely !

we are there to amuse.... and that would do it !!—

other than splicing 10 lead ropes my only other assignments for this donkey bit are feed 30 people Friday night and find a wheelchair in case we pull off something in Cambridge on Sunday...

so Friday night 22 donkeys from colorado and I assume as many people..... details are a bit scratchy   so I am to feed them... I have the hay.  So for people....  will be chicken  stew... and a vegan stew... throw a bunch of stuff in the pot 4 hours ahead is my speciality...

Janine just rode the course  yesterday and reports a 5 mile loop and a 7 mile look... I asked how she was so sure of the mileage???? Of course her watch or phone told her..

I will never get used to it.

thank you carol ----commenting onmy $2500 Vet bill estimation....

The emergency vet fee- $2500.- reminded me of a friends "bucket list" trip to Africa recently. She was in Africa about to leave for a "safari"- tripped and fell breaking her ankle. Went to hospital- 7 x-rays and consult w/ doc- $12.00.

Carol

and to wrap up the toilet issue...

janine report

I wanted to provide a summary of the toilet issue in the Laundry.

Last week, I dug around the septic and the pipe. There was no smell or evidence that the septic was failing. I added a bottle of Draino and purchased a toilet auger from Home Depot. We removed the toilet and used the auger to partially clear the pipe. When we pulled the auger from the pipe, there were remnants of a towel wrapped in the end of the auger.

Overnight the auger and Draino solution worked enough to clear the entire pipe of water. On Friday, Spencer Home Services came out to evaluate the pipe and septic. Using an internal camera, he found a second blockage which was a massive wad of hand wipes. He used an industrial size auger to clear the pipe.  I kept several remnants of the towel and handwipes that were removed by the auger, the rest was pushed into the septic system.

Spencer Home Services inspected the septic and confirmed that it was working properly. He recommended only light usage until the septic is pumped because the towel and hand wipes could cause the entire septic system to fail.

I also met with the Ipswich Board of Health and provided them with the same summary and showed them the remnants.  They will need to come out to confirm that the toilet is properly capped once the septic has been pumped. They removed James Teague as an occupant of the property.  All further communication between the Board of Health will go through me.

SDP should continue to use the portable toilet.

.....

i know this is a busy place... but i didn't even know a James Teague was living here---to report the possible public health issue and suggest a title 5 investigation- how helpful !.... what more could i say?

working on the 1" rope for safety lead lines for the donkey episodes coming up the end of the week.

fun !!! at last !!

 sept 24

Many thanks to the hay rescue bunch of people------ whatta group !! I did stash  away $1700 worth of hay in case we need it for the Colorado visitors – that was going to pinch a little but 30 of you all came thru and I remain solvent !! a pinch is bad if we have some emergency on top of pinch..... they hardly let you in the emergency 24 hour vet hospital for less than $2500. So many thanks!!

This could be fun----they are having  what is really a donkey wandering on the Saturday. Sept 30 —about 5 or 6 miles in sort of a figure 8 so people could drop out if they want to. But on Sunday... rumor has it we will try and have a run down the memorial drive in Cambridge.... I plan to participate by having a water ski towing  arraingement behind a donkey and I will be in a wheelchair.... we might make the news .. one way or another !! my life has always been a challenge of getting on the front page – above the fold—and alternately NOT being on the front page above the fold.  In my past Cambridge paid me to have my troup of animals on exhibit on these Sunday RiverFests--- the donkeys and the dogs—who were on =the bed ...

I remember... this is a good one......having a colonoscopy  ... the doctor said “roll over on your left side” ... which I did.. and she quickly said “Now I recognize you “ ...” you had the danes on the bed in Cambridge- causing my husband to go buy 2 pups.”

 Absolutely true story...

One of  “you “ CP’s suggested we --- judy and I --- try and get alexa to play Broadway  Show...music- which  we should sing to.....when visiting these adult care centers.....  an interesting and fun idea -----our own vaudeville act !—I think I. have noticed Alzheimer patients often sing old songs....

We are collecting poo picker sent by you all.... with suggestions on them—and practicing lyrics.

Buncha nuts—for this  enthusiasm is more critical than musical skills... hopefully...

as for yesterdays salacious typo-- for every woman who mentioned it, 4 men thanked me !

 9.23.  SECOND GO AROUND

apparently a link has got in my daily doggie.... that sent you to a salacious web ..i don't know how.so start again... sorry...

The less than exciting septic update..... is....

Apparently.... With the town officials......Goldys Farm is second only to the soap opera General Hospital between this daily doggie , mail call and the rumor mill.. as one official said “- a lot is going on there-“  and “ thank you ! your operation entertains at my mom’s nursing home--- in Chicago!!!” -plus many amusing comments like my favorite.... ... “this #2 shall pass “

Pieces of the “problem” in the pipe have been pulled out by a snake with a grabber on the end ---- I did not know one existed- thanks to several very detailed emails from Camera People (? Now called Goldys Warriers?????)- but seeing as there were identifyably 2 blockages which got pushed into the tank after the grabbing process...... it has been suggested we have the tank pumped anyway—no rush- but as soon as we get the tank uncovered... which we--- the farm’s volunteers, staff and relatives) are picking away on the dirt pile with shovels..... there is no evidence of overflow/ moisture around the tank area....  the toilet has been removed- awaiting a new seal-

The board if health has suggested we cap the hole in the bathroom which we would happily do except Lynn/ SDP has put locks on the doors prohibiting us from doing what the BOH has suggested.

So Carley may now shower upstairs if she can sand the smell from the uncapped hole . This is progress. It is also the fourth building made at least partially incapacitated by SDP’s  Board of Directors.

****

moving on.... ......

My much preferred HAY PROJECT IS BACK FULL SWING—AFTER “the hay guy “ had truck mechanical trouble... and then a driver with a DUI which prohibited him from crossing into Canada where the massive hay supply is kept. I never knew of that kind of problem.... but I do have that legal arrest in my background- about a leash law violation- and southern comfort Manhattans--- but I was in my house........not driving....

You never know when the law will raise it’s sometimes....ugly confused head.

I dumped the trash from the moving ( a household expense... not Goldys Farm)-----one load with 4 mattresses. $350.00.. and then... because we were nearly out of hay at both places... I did get 2 loads. 95 bales each.  50 bales to meridith’s storage... and 140 in our hayloft ... putting it in our loft is easier because we have... a proper loft and a proper hay elevator—they then take from here daily in their normal truck --- ford 350--- as needed.

With 22 donkeys coming here for this pack burro episode  the last thing I needed to be short of was hay...so if anyone can add a $10 bale or two please do.... this ought to be a very amusing episode ! which I will. Try to put on camera as I follow them around.

I wonder if that would qualify me for a “Press” badge???

 SEPT 22 2023

I NOW HAVE IN HAND A NOTICE FROM. THE  DEPT OF PUBLIC HEALTH..IT SAYS----- THE OCCUPANT .... OF 37 BOXFORD,  JAMES TEAGUE (?) REPORTS A POSSIBLE NEED FOR TITLE 5 OR PLUMBING INSPECTON.- ACTUALLY I THINK I AM RELIEVED !  Please someone in authority investigate what is going on here. and throw out the people

responsible.   which to me seem to be the president and board of directors who have ignored the  many problems of service dog project .

I ALSO NOW HAVE THE REPORT  OF THE CONTENT OF THE BLOCKABE OF THE PIPE BETWEEN THE TOILET AND THE SEPTIC TANK.... AN APPARENT WASH TOWELL  WHICH JANINE AND FRIEND  GOT OUT OF THE PIPE WITH  A   “PLUMBERS SNAKE “  FROM HOME DEPOT.  THAT GRABS PIECES OF THE BLOCKAGE.... WHY WAS THIS NOT DONE BY LYNN HERSELF, OR  A PLUMBER OR ANYONE CALLED BY LYNN TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM I DO NOT KNOW.

THE TOILET HAS NOW BEEN REMOVED. ......HEAVEN KNOWS WHY BUT THERE IS ALSO A BRAND NEW TOILET IN THE BOX STILLL SITTING IN THE FRONT YARD.

I AM HOPING THE SAMPLE. WASH TOWEL IS AVAILABLE ALSO.

I like to think I am a scientist demanding answers.......

STAY TUNED.

 sept 21 2023

This #2 shall pass---I could not have said it better !  that was the prize remark  by someone in the  office of Tushy. – for newcomers..... I visited a friend “ sandy” in tennassee ( who has the cleanest house I was ever in...) and was fascinated by the remote control  which took the place of toilet paper... YUP !!  go there yourself---  but I came  home with ideas I had never considered before—and found the “Tushy” company who has someone in the office with a great vocabulary—who came up with some great ones about doing your dooty to let things pass while saving 37 trees per roll.  I can not beat that !!

As  for a septic  update... I worked most of the day at building 25 sorting trash.... vs... stuff for the street.....vs ... stuff for storing ...vs stuff in daily use. -I saw no activity around  the septic problem... until Janine appeared with a shovel... and 15 minutes later was in my refrigerator looking for left over Chinese food for supper, having found the “missing “ tank.  She reported the whole area was dry with no sign or smell of a problem in that area. So it seems to be a problem with pipes between teh first floor toilet and the  tank...  the most probable is papertowels or feminine products none of which should be flushed. She really moved the project along by locating the tank for  them... and handed over the details in an emaIL to Lynn, the board, and the lawyer.

Giving me the opportunity to explain why my method of screw driver and soup spoon is my preferred method of digging.... especially post  hole digging. (PHD) I cannot tell you how many times as I sat on the ground with spoon in hand that some ( usually   a burley man) would come by and scoff  “don’t you have a post hole digger?”

YUP. I bet I own 3 of them – that were given to me- however I have found my spoon system to be much more efficient....  because  those PHD can be pounded in   and will scoop about ½ cup of dirt, but if that dirt contains  ½ inch pebble, then the PHD will sift out the dirt and raise the ½ inch pebble to the surface...  often.... this is new England and full of rocks.----my spoon will lift the dirt and rocks darn well /. Til you hit a boulder... when both the PHD and my spoon would require a shovel.

OF course another  easy hole digging process involves a  tractor and an auger—which will spin at 1200 rpms.  – when you own one of these things, you should also own a supply of shear pins- and that is what stops me... if those are sold with the digger, and the word “shear” is involved, it must mean that  pieces of these pins will break off and go somewhere at 1200 feet per minute.  Just the physics imply they don’t just break and drop.... however if one hits you right, that is exactly what you would do.

And then there is the back hoe—which will dig a mammoth hole of almost any size. But you will. Need concrete to make the hole stable enough to even hold the mail box post—let alone hold a mule...

So I prefer the spoon method....

Last time I did that was with the young girl who  had a falling issue--- she did such a good job at digging that post hole that we gave her a dog and she walked off to school..( much like our famous “Bella and George” –  ABC news)

But do I ever look foolish with my spoon and screw driver....?

Looking foolish  is not a problem—it is more a speciality of mine.

 sept 20 2023

trucks arrived and people walked around in the dark---I could not go there myself so I had to wait. Carly reported it was a collection of urine and feces-soaked towels that had been left probably since Saturday ----on the Metal stairs in the room next to lynn's office.  she also reported that the fire department had broken in to lynns office as they are required to do.

one of the firemen later gave his opinion that he wouldn't keep a dog in that building between the puddle and the stench.  yet because the place was not cleaned up properly Carly was expected to live there anyway.. ( she is my number one overnight help. )

I officially knew nothing until---Tuesday 11am lynn wrote an email  explaining what had happened. Which was relayed to me  by their lawyer  at 12:pm—in that email their lawyer said  “Thank you for managing this Lynn. “

at this point I thought ---- here we go again—days into this and nothing has actually been done----just Like the moldy mess left for 10 days in my cellar--- that they just had not got round to  dealing with.... or the kennels they ripped apart and just dumped in a pile , or,,, or,,, or--- now the hold up is a pipe on the surface which I would follow by digging with a soup spoon which would not require dig safe !!...

is it comical to report that because  they locked the building with those thumb locks and left me  or my friends and relatives with no access to the rest room... that this is entirely SDP’s shit. Literally !!

THIS  never should have happened.. plus I was already paying for a porta pottie which only one SDP person seemed to use.

That is only one “incidental expense” that every year has been  over $20,000 of  my non reimbursed expenses just to keep SDP afloat.

All of that without getting into the hatred  of  a thousand knives of..... “I am not paying  my staff  to help you” -----“don’t put your trash in our dumpster” ---- “you are lucky we let you live here “- are  direct quotes of many....

But there are a few....”here let me help with your groceries, Lynn’s not here”

It is a mess.  Actually a bunch of messes.

All I ask is.. pay your bills, clean up your messes and be polite.

 sept 19 2023

sorry , this is not really faSCINATING READING BUT IT IS MY LIFE IN. THE PAST 48 HOURS... AND IT DOES HAVE A FEW LESSONS...  MAYBE....

I could not make up this stuff.   In riding around on my golf cart I noticed the door to the laundry building was propped open ----as this often locked with that thumb lock thing..  I asked and was told by a service dog project volunteer that the toilet had overflowed.  People were running around with mops and buckets and towels..  I was told Lynn was informed and that a plumber was on the way.  so although an overflowing toilet is very high on a list of unpleasant things that can happen, it is not all that unusual and it seemed to me the proper things were being done...  I saw Carly and Mike, who live upstairs--- and told them not to use any water till  the problem  got solved.

I quickly ran around to where I knew the septic tank was located which is behind door 25... and it was bone dry..  So my immediate assumption was that it was probably the pipe before the septic tank that was causing the backup that was causing the leak in the bathroom..  and on further investigation the leak was showing at the bottom of the toilet not over the rim.

I was also told that mark had tried the typical snake and it only gotten it down about four feet and could not go any further which could define what the problem was by saying it's got a blockage somewhere---- so everything at that point seemed pretty normal to me.. and since I did see a plumber's truck come and go I assumed the situation was under control and nobody has said a word to me about it.  That was 4 days ago...

the reason they haven't said a word to me is I've been saying for the last year  that the stresses put on that building's plumbing system we're way beyond what the building was designed to accommodate..  and I have loudly said for the last year that the plumbing system at the house was said to accommodate a small motel,  but  that the plumbing system connected to the laundry building was designed for four or five people in that small apartment.

To try and alleviate the situation, months ago....... I went so far as to rent a handicap accessible porta potty which as far as I could see SDP people preferred not to use. So I sat around figuring it was only a matter of time before something gave way.  I'm not sure that this is a septic problem because it is most likely a problem of city girls not being told that if you don't chew it and swallow it or take the toilet paper roll then you must not put it in the toilet. because there are many sanitary products that say they can be flushed----- well they can be flushed in a city but they cannot be flushed in a septic system----- so that--- just by the numbers...  is probably the cause.  I don't know.   no one has said a thing to me or ask me what I know about that septic system but I did see the plumber’S truck come and go so I assumed it was being dealt with and I was awaiting  being told what the plumber found....

UNTIL.....

The lawyer for SDP got involved and I received notices with inflammable language of faulty plumbing-- health issues --toilet waste pouring into sdp’s leased space--  poorly maintained septic system-- health problem and the problem was carlys apartment on the second floor.
I made some comment about water flowing down hill—and  we got this

I was a journey plumber in my younger days so don't need any advice from the Landlord on that subject.  Please ask the Landlord to  contact Lynn and Carly with the advice about using the other facility in the short term. The problem is coming from Carly's unit as far as I know.

William H. Hulsey( the SDP lawyer)

Before you convince your audience that it is carley’s apartment  causing the problem......

please- Mr Hulsey. – will you explain--- scientifically---- to this  landlord just  what is the “problem”  on the second floor that will make the water appear under the toilet on the first floor.

As for my telling them  to use other facility in the short term...??.  although it still may be a simple tampon problem  I have told you and will repeat--- that building was not made to accommodate what SDP is doing.

In addition to the toilet problem, honeymoon hill area was designed to accommodate a female In heat--- which would be 3 weeks every 6 months or so... not the permanent kennel for 3 or 4 dogs to live .

So when the fire department came last night to investigate the odd burning smell coming from lynns office --- the unsanitary condition of those kennels and adjacient run with “THE PUDDLE”  was noted – “it stinks terribly” is the only report I was given 4 days into the “overflow” .  personally I would have put the overflow on a 24 hour  deadline.

like the 10 days of molding trash that was ignored .... ,  that will be my next headache....and janine is offering to help but she is overbooked now with donkey pack burro race.

 dd 9 18

with 4 inches of rain forcasted --- the kitchen of the old house not empty... the yard full of the contents of the porch---  the garden trailer full of house contents covered with tarp.. --- building 25 is 3/4 full--- i need to concentrate on  is that worth the space to save it ... and how will i find it if i do...

that is the daily doggie !!!!

 sept 17 2023

I have 12 donkey lead ropes all ready for todays elizabeth donkey walking project....that pack burro race  project is coming into it’s final plans.. none of which I understand at the moment... except  with the topsfield fair running at the same time.. it seems wise to get away from all the streets that abut the fairgrounds...  traffic  for the fair has been known to be 5 miles long...

The process of moving both elizabeth and me Is getting more and more spectacular—both of us never throw away anything we can  think of a use for,,and we are both creative thinkers..... my fascination came from  my father who said never throw away anything metal. – so I remove hinges from door long past their usefulness. And consider keeping the screws--- tho I do toss those--- eliz collects bigger things- like  pieces of houses.... and although my hinges could be considered  piece of houses --- she has entire kitchens and things like wood for chair rail walls – to be honest , I don’t see the end of it for either of us yet....

And I had to go and buy a new toothbrush because mine is now in some box labeled 25 which is the “shed” I built to accommodate the meat chipping project from before purina days...

Apparently osha  legislates the space between fingers and  the slicing blade for roast beef sandwich places- so there is a considerable lump of roast beef  left—which we used to chip with a leaf chipper for the dogs

Perfectly Good beef—we had been known to make into stew- on occasion... that was long ago.. and we lived...

In moving ... I am enjoying the GAMMA LIDS I bought several years ago—marvelous plastic lids that snap onto those 5 gallon buckets that are all over... with a twist top—they are super !—and I paid $6 for them long ago—well they are now $12---if $6 I would gladly buy 10 to help with this moving project... perfect storage—handy – so I went looking and found some for $6.20- and was all ready to give it my credit card when in fine print came the shipping and handling which was more than the cost of the lids... unless I wanted to pick them up in the store... where?  Ohio--- so if anyone lives near menards in ohio.. lucky you....go buy yourself some----.

Moving--- literally !! and almost enjoying it !

Where I am going for todays bit in the newspaper  -----

The fact that we  are not developing enough scientists is something we hear about all the time.  Let me add a rinkle... we are not developing enough dog trainers either...Plus the whole project of dog training is not give the perspective it should get. Hands up for anyone who would want to live in that corner of Pennsylvania with  the murderer running loose with a rifle. With thousands of man hours spent ,how was the man finally made immobile?  No possible officer would or  should  go in close with that.... but a super quick very efficient  dog... with teeth – had no problem.

From leading the blind-- to sniffing cancer cells—to cadaver dogs at earth quakes...to drug dogs at the border---to alerting deaf people to the oven timer that says the pie is ready... to courtroom dogs comforting—to dogs who just sit and listen while a child learns to read..... to all the dogs who just listen to our daily problems.  We have not scratched the surface.

and going on  with the story ---to larkey with his armpit fascination in 1 person out of about 100.
