i forgot the tues day silly box  drawing. so it will have to be teh wednesday box... if i remember.------  the bentley footprint project distracted me... ... i think we have about 200  so far... one of teh cp's told me i should have been better organized so cp's could hav seen the production better... that was certainly true... however.... let me tell you what i did manage to get  organized...

first challange... i told the people who bought the chicken bricks over the new year, that i would get them a bentley pawprint..    an origional... not simply run thru a copy machine.
we started  to figure that out.....we had many trials.. most successful as far as absorbing the ink/paint was an individual piece of brown paper bag.. was not suitable for mass production... but since that resulted in hundreds of pawprionts on the vinyl floor, i realized we needed  to do better in the design mode.

Uline ..Who is our supplier of things like paper goods had a  roll of 24 inch probably called what's butcher r paper or something so I ordered A roll which involved also a rack to put the roll. on ----- and at the same time we figured out that a normal stamp pad was not big enough for bentley's paw so I needed some commercial size stamp pads someone did suggest I use the washable colorful ones so I ordered some of those to try .. In the meantime we discovered that Bentley was going to need training because just running up and down this 24 inch piece of white paper was not going to get us to  the number of paw prints we needed .. namely.  297...    so I got the commercial ink pads--- two of them i had the paper and had to wait for there to be two people in the house who could bend over which would be Donna and Judy and I would be in charge of explaining to Bentley but they weren't really crazy but we wanted him to pick up 1 foot at a time and they would tell him where to put it down-------- so with that operation going we were finally able to get decent paw prints about 6 inches apart in two lines down a 8 foot long  24 inch piece of paper which turns out to be almost 50 paw prints per piece of paper-------- it was suggested that I turned on the sound and move some of the furniture out of the way so people could see better and appreciate what we were going through which finally I was able to do -------

because at the beginning I was tremendously distracted by the fact that Janine had given us two donkeys which she said were pregnant verified by veterinarian and one of them was close to have a foal... I had send someone down to check on the donkeys and put them in the stall on camera so that I could watch them out of my other eye while donna  and Judy crawl back and forth across the floor with bentley's paw print project...
so the barn person put the two donkeys in the stall where I could see them and then called me up to tell me they had done that which of course I could see ... and they person said that they had checked the milk bag and it was filling was very large and filling which means that foalling  should be imminent .------.so I got the camera organized to give me a better view of the donkeys that they had in the stall and the bag that they were talking about turns out to be the boy part of a male donkey ---- the other one s in the stall was a prego one...   and  had something wrong with it with its mouth as it was  hanging open I------’ve not seen before and that looked pretty strange so Karen who’s  become very friendly with these donkeys thought we should call the vet Brian and have him checked which she did ..  Meanwhile Donna and Judy are crawling back and forth and back and forth with ink all  over the place but we're getting a lot of really good footprints ..
so Brian arrived and decided one thing that look at the female needed was fluid ---she was dehydrated so he did the process  that people have seen on doctor Paul which is putting a great long tube down the nose and into the stomach and he pumped in 2 gallons of warm water about 1/2 a gallon of mineral oil ....  and Judy and Donna were  still crawling around the floor with ink  all over them and I really was having trouble remembering that I should give better visual to the camera people after all they do support us very nicely by buying these chicken bricks monthly but I was distracted because I still had one male donkey in the foaling stall and I didn't know where the other female one was ..  she had to be out in the pasture where everybody thought she was a boy .. we have this kind of problem here every once in awhile  ..-----all those distractions were over by Mail call at which point I forgot it was Tuesday and I should have filled a surprise box and pulled  the name out of the texs hat....  for  of one of the camera operators as a thank you for all the hard work they do try to keep the cameras straight

well the distractions weren't totally over because at 6:00 o'clock I had a zoom meeting with the board of directors and I only had good things to report to them we've got some super animals trained that are doing fantastic job particularly a couple with young children ..  This month we really had wonderful reports from two of our dogs the fact that they had gotten 2 kids out of their  wheelchair s  on their feet standing up straight and very nearly what you could call walking----- needs a little practice but they're on their feet getting around with one hand on their dog.  One kid was in school going  from class to class---had  a few kinks to workout but doing very well and the other kid  went  hiking with his family and instead of being left in a wheelchair in the lodge while everybody else was out on the trail------- he was out on the trail with him with his four paw drive helper..  both with grins on their faces the likes of which can not be duplicated... one of those kids brought me a packet of naan bread. which i had for supper becaues i never got to make any ... yet...

and all that is at least part of why I forgot to  get more stuff out of the way for camera people to get a better view of  the paw print production crew crawling around the floor....
