I know Halloween is coming... because. Costco got out the Christmas lights !! did I read somewhere that Halloween was the second most profitable for stores??

 Welllllllllllll. Let me try and cut that down with a piece of information gained in my advancing years...

Halloween being the time of year when it becomes necessary to  turn your child or your dog into a. Unicorn. or helicopter ... And there is no point going to the store and spending money on a costume when the basis of it is so easy and cheap

 

if you take 2 cheap (free)  white coat hangers... must be white,----and cut off the hooks...heavy duty pliers usually work...

 then sitting in a chair.. take the first and balance it on your left leg... stabilize it with your right hand .. and with the left , bend it around your thigh—then stabilize it with your left hand and bend the right portion straight up... set aside... now do the second one by balancing on your right leg and bending down and up like you did the other... now with a little turning you can match them up and fix them together with electrical tape--- for the moment--- and you have the frame for attaching this to the child's head and tying it with a piece of string underneath the chin sort of like an abbreviated football helmet .. this can be improved by wrapping a sock very tightly around the wires and wrapping even tighter with electrical tape ( which comes colored) ----- from donkey ears to airplane wings, the most amazing things can be attached... and generally that “helmet” will stay on the dog or child without falling or hindering them in any way

historically, I have had. 8 dane pups wearing those helmets all at once to protect their ears... it does work
