We ended the last board with a bang—and a few clucks.....sold out--- music to my ears---- it was set to achieve the 2 part time salaries and 2 tanks of gas--- to support the visiting the senior living places... and it did that.. thank you--- now lets see if we can add a few expenses we will have for the veterans project. Having a fire and making coffee in the tipi is totally possible.... except water must be toted. 5 gallon style—where they will be has no running water or electricity.... and that is a good thing. There is a stream out there .. but the expression “you want to drink upstream from the herd” is applicable.
So with the henny penny board to get us started.......judy and I had done a chicken bingo bit at a nursing home—very entertaining but not very profitable... seniors at these places do not carry cash—however left over from that was the portable 8 foot board --------it became --- the chicken table where the first 2 chickens performed admirably---and then carlie’ “house chicken” had center stage..... it is a polish tufted chicken—black with a white ‘hairdooo” ----she has been living with carlie in their apartment since the rest of the gals in the hen house decided to pick on her....? hen pecked?----- so now she is a house chicken... and often sits on carlie’s head.
Where else but here????
I did find the Indian tipi book—and the crowd has promised to get me 3 of the poles to see if I can get them set up. You might be able to see it from what was the driveway camera of explore’s. I can’t keep any camera stuff straight.
Mail call with eliz, Janine and carlie ( and me) is really a lively affair... I never know what direction we will go in...it is certainly unscripted... the Dr, XXX was shocked at the constant chatter of the group. We could use more paper mail with comments for me to read.....
Janine and I did 62 people with the 4 dogs... the 4th was wanda—who was exceedingly popular.... janine’s facebook is full of wanda pictures---- not one of my super dog malarkey !!!
The next week .... ?10 days? Will be tough—there is no other word for it.... there is so much to shift around... none the least of which is my 3 dogs and eliz ? 5 which includes 2 puppies??? We have not yet mixed them. Then ther is a huge collection of “pieces of mansions” brought home by nick—still in their old house and yet to be added here.... I am getting there—except for a 6’ x 6’ area in the corner of the garage----- I can’t get to it because of the incoming eliz storage containers....
So for the next week... we need “room to roam” and get settled...
