the shaking and sweeping iS on a great start.... in prep for the official cleaners to come and even give us an estimate tomorrow....
we--- lyn and sara---- emptied one room of "stashed stuff and i sat and sorted it... dumpster... dumptrailer.. dogfest freebees. ..caw (ME) ,,, sidewalk offering... some of out sunday visitors took some stuff before i got it to the street... we have a white table on which we have written "this demo table is not for taking...." judy made off with teh "size 8 collection of dresses....
goal today is to empty the "overflow room"... into an organized cellar.... i will. miss it... i have a doctors apt....
i have to hand it to lynn... she is a tidy soul.... with stamina !! and sara hung in there very well also ----

there was a false report on rat patrol..... i thought we were home free when i left out a piece of french bread on the kitchen counter.. and there were no "takers"
however.. then next night, the huge chewy box of dog treats had a hole chewed in the side and ..... literally 1/2 a box of treats was gone. question... one rat aTE 1/2 BOX???
SO LAST NIGHT ... I LEFT THIS BIG BOX IN TEH MIDDLE OF THE ROOM... WITH LACHEY AND JIMINEY SLEEPING IN THE SAME ROOM,,, AND THERE WAS NO FURTHER FEASTING OF COOKIES...
MAKING ME REALIZE. RATS ALWAYS GO FOR THE WALL.... SO FAR A BOX OF ATTRRACTIVE COOKIES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM HAS SURVIVED..

HE-- OR JIMINEY. .....HAS LEARNED TO STEP ON THE THING TO LIFT THE TRASH CONATINER LID....
SO NOW TH E PUPPY GATE HAS TO BE TIED ACROSS THE TRASH TOO...
THAT COULD BE THE SOURCE OF WASH CLOTHS HE FINDS.... ALONG WITH CHICKEN BONES AND THINGS I THOUGHT WERE CAREFULLY THROWN AWAY.

AND I AM TOLD THERE IS NO MORE "AWAY" TO THROW THINGS.... AT LEAST IN THE CASE OF MAINE... APPARENTLY THEY NO. LONGER WANT OUR TRASH FROM MASS.
I THINK I MENTIONED MONTHS AGO THEY WERE SHUTTING OFF TEH DEAD HORSE DEALER FROM THIER DUMPING GROUNDS..
WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO??? I WONDER WHAT CREATIVE ANSWER MASS WILL HAVE TO THE DEAD HORSE .--
AT ANY MOMENT THIS COULD BE A PROBLEM FOR ANYONE OWNING A LIVE HORSE...
