My overnight TV channel is number 132 for Verizon---- It may be National Geographic ----- I don't know--- it is the channel that carries the zoo in Florida and the zoo in Columbus and doctor Pol…… so last night I watched as they were training orangutans
certain behaviors that would help in their general management ….. namely go to a certain place in theire outdoor habotat or come to the fence where they stood . it was very interesting how they train them… in the process of training there was a small frog that was in their habitat and one of the orangutans didn't immediately do the command that they asked for but instead it went over to a different place and got a branch and switched away the little frog and then went and put the branch back and then Came to the handler …. the handler explained there was fascinating that the orangutans used a tool to eliminate the frog that he didn't …… like whereas I was fascinated in the fact of the orangutans went and put it back where it belonged------- which pointed out the great difference between orangutans and humans .
all this started be'cause just this week I think I bought a pair of what I think are slip pliers the kind that grab a pipe , or in my case a hose connection .------I'm sure I own 40 or 50 of those which are around the property hiding in the grass , --------then I noticed Bud.
BUD was about to use a pressure washer which someone had given us , to clean up the fountains in the pond and see what was aN ELECTRICAL problem with one of 'em ……he went over to the laundry buildering to connect the pressure washer and he needed to tighten the hose connection so it didn't squirt all over the place and he just reached around to his back pocket and there was a pair of slip pliers . this points out the great difference between Bud and the rest of the world around here,
now if I was fooling with A hose I would go straight to the hose, struggle to try and tighten it BY HAND, realize I needed a pair of slip pliers, be annoyed that I had to go all the way back to the yellow building to try and find a pair----- it would take considerable time to find a pair in the building, if possible ----before I could again attempt to stop the hose from squirting all over Me this points out the great difference between AN orangutan, An accomplished
Workman And me.
I may get there eventually but it's painful .
Of all the people around here either on staff or volunteering there is a notable difference between a nurse and the rest of us one of the very biggest things nurses seemed to learn Is the transition Between Shifts and the fact that equipment needs to be put back where it belongs AND notes have to be detailed with regard do anything that happened … we have a lot of nurses in our group so there are places add service dog project word attempt is made to organization Obviously there are places let don't enjoy that organization .
