I had more than a few emails glad to have correctly typed daily doggy....  I did have one that said I took all the fun out of it and how they considered it comprable to the New York times crossword puzzle...  however
I had one person Who thought I was too critical of the  rehab  hospital------ that was not critical It was just a suggestionthat  someone consider gearing children Tord what they will be successful at instead of trying to get them to what could be considered a normal  childhood activity
I found a better example than the hospital ---in my refrigerator

we have these two nursing mothers sizzle and may and they are entitled to require whatever they want to eat ------to keep all nine puppies fed ---- sizzle has required quite a bit of whipped cream along with cheese to keep the calcium up and chicken And hamburger while may will do with just the chicken in the hamburger and of course always cheese ----
the problem is --   when we humans go to the store to buy chickin For these dogs we have been told that the white meat is best ----- but I believe it's a fact that the dark made has a higher fat concentration And more calories which is what we're trying to feed these dogs... So to be kind to these dogs with their head in the human box they buy white meat chicken Whereas if they had a canine mindset they would buy the dark meat ---our human shoppers are trying to be do the best thing but it's a different box to think out of-----they sould be buying chicken thighs or drumsticks---- the thighs are preferred by Me basically because they thigh  had that has only one bone where the drumsticks have the main bone and then a tiny sliver of a bone .  also  I believe the chicken thighs are the cheapest that you can find it at the market except for maybe wings so it again is a case of applying human mental block......Where this “other box” needs to be considered so you can think out of it .
So back to the chicken coop
I've decided we need to rethink the chicken area to make it easier to care for...... the only reason We could have so many animals here is that I have tried to figure out the easiest way to give them excellent care with minimum effort ...for example the donkey water there is one tub out in the donkey cafe and I want the animals to go find the water dish instead of us providing water in three or four different places .There's no reason they can't go get their own Drank

As a matter of fact big draft horses are sometimes given A chance to drink only two or three times a day .....in the process of buying a team of draft horses I ended up in Syracuse NY with a man Who had a dairy farm and he spread the cows mineure with six beautiful black percherons the reason I knew about him was he showed those percherons at the topsfield fair and I was impressed------ so I went there and rode around behind just two of 'em and was overwhelmed.    I don't see how you can understand horsepower until you driven A team of draft horses . his theory in training draft horses was if they behaved he spread the manure around the Hill .....but if they acted up he made them spread up and down the Hill which is an awful lot harder -----  the team that I bought  was Duke and dick  both of which are buried out on the far side of field A......   .he kept his horses in straight stalls and let  2 of  them out  at a time to get a drink twice a day they would walk over to a huge sink and drink for 5  minutes while he clraned layed their stall and that was sufficient...    beautiful big black percherons
so to have a camera person Say they're going to have Me investigated for not having water  in the donkey stall...  all I can say is ---have at it --- if they're not thirsty / hungry enough to walk  40 feet till the donkey cafe where all the hay and water  is available  then there are other problems I gotta look into . This person Didn't seem to realize there are a couple 1000 people watching everything we do already and I don't fear any further scrutiny
---So again back to the chicken coop I think I would like the tractor to churn up their pasture which hopefully would give them many more worms to pick on And get them focused on living in the new coop and easier to catch so we may be changing fencing around a little bit there today .maybe .
The ground to which they have access to roam freely... ... is tired,,, it would love a few scoops of manure and worms for entertainment..  it is impossible to  keep grass there.. they scratch it up...
---
I have written so many of these daily doggies that is tough to find new things FYI but there is one I think------- those black percherons we're show animals and the reason they were so black is that he never let them out in the sun Which bleaches out that black into a scruffy black Brown Just as it does with our dogs -----he only spread manure late evening while during the day horses were in stalls....he had Brown paper covering the windows so the horses would stay black ....I know of one other black show horse---- a quarter horse owned by Lynn Cashman She kept hers blanketed even to  a blanket covering their ears so the only part showing were the two eyes and last four inches of their nose ...lyn  was a pretty accomplished Nationally known Quarter horse person-------I dind’t compare.. .
Now there is a very funny story------ we were in a situation one day where I had occasion to say “Meet Wayne Cashman , He is Lynn cashman's husband”   and Wayne turned to Me and said “that's the first time it went that direction-- I am used to  'meet  lyn.  Wayne cashman's wife '“   Since wayne was famous as  number 12 on the Stanley Cup championship Bruins team . lot of funny stories there .-some I can even tell... sometime.....
