SEPT 1 2018
TINA JUST TOLD ME.....BRICKS SOLD OUT  -- BLESS YOU ALL---  OUT OF GENERAL INTEREST.....  438 PEOPLE BOUGHT BRICKS ( SO FAR.... TOMORROW IS THE SHATTING)    104 BOUGHT 1 BRICK  AND 110 BOUGHT 2  SO IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT 50% OF OUR PEOPLE DONate $20 or less .there are a handfull of people who donate considerably more than that ---  but teh $10 donor is  very critical  to the operation...
especially if YOU  all could find another  $10 friend...  we would really be laughing !!
here's another IDEA to milk teh support.... nearly everyone has a collection of coins... in the car, kitchen or laundry--  if you all package tehm up( so they don't rattle) and send them... i wonder how much we would get...-- i wonder if we could fill a 5 gallon jug with pocket change?????  I BET WE COULD...
remember my volume study  a cup of mixed coins is $20   and a gallon of pennies is $60--
i will set out a 5 gallon jug and see what happens next...  i had a 5 gal jug of just pennies once-- it was $291 ish...by actual count ( the bank did it.)
several things will influence the collection... i don't know of anyone who pulls out coins to pay for $12.35
so that would give you 65 cents in coins that would end up somewhere...    then the negative...  with people buying on qamazon/ ebay  you dojn't see coins at all...
it sould be interesting...  i will findd  5 GAL JUG.

NOW FOR "THE SPLITTING OF THE WOOD"... FINALLY I GOT THE CHUNKS OF THAT DEAD TREE OUT OF THE "A" FIELD AND  THE GUY HERE DOING COMMNITY SERVICE DID A WONDERFUL JOB WHACKING IT INTO  QUARTERS.. MY PLAN IS FOR TEH PEOPLE AT DOGFEST TO EXPERIENCE SOME OF THE "FARM TYPOE"  CHORES-- AND WOOD SPLITTING IS NOT ALLTHAT DIFFICULT-- WE DO HAVE A WOOD SPLITTER-- WHICH BUD CAN USUALLY PROMPT INTO WORKING--   MY  CHILDREN - AT A VERY YOUNG AGE HAVE " PUSHED THE LEVER" ON TEH SPLITTER   WITHOUT DIFFICULTY-- IT SHOULD BE EDUCATIONAL -- THE SPLITTER IS ANCIENT BUT HONORABLE.  WE NEED TO HAVE SOME SPLIT INTO  "KINDLING" SIZE--- THEN WHEN YOU WATCH THE FIRE  NEXT JANUARY, YOU CN THINK "I SPLIT THAT"
THERE WILL ALSO BE--- PROBABLY PAINTING CHORES.. I DUNNO
****
FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT ABLE TO COME, YOU SHOULD SEND YOUR SPIRIT STICKS FOR US TO HAVE A PARADE OF SPIRITS ON CAMERA ON SUNDAAy of dog fest
for newcommers... a spirit stick is  photo of something-- with your name on the back. .taped to a paint stirrer ( we have them if you don't)  -- they are displayed at dog fest-- thne on sunday  we parade them in front of the cameras and  then burn thm so teh smoke wafts skywqaRD AND YOUR SPIRIT REMAINS AT CRQAZY ACRES...
AS THE PARADE WINDS PAST THE CAMERA, AND THE FIRE, IT THEN GOES TO THE ICECREAM TABLE FOR  CHOCOLATE GOO  ....JIMMIES AND  WHIPPED CREAM !!!

TODAY GRETCHEN  AND I  STARTED OUR DAY AT 2:00AM TO HEAD TO MASS GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY NEUROLOGIST. WE LEARNED MORE ABOUT THE GENE THERAPY CLINICAL TRIAL I WILL BE DOING(HOPEFULLY SOON). I WILL BE GETTING A SPINAL TAP THE DAY PRIOR TO THE THERAPY, THE NEXT DAY I WILL BE GETTING AN INJECTION INTO MY CEREBELLUM BY A NEURO-RADIOLOGIST WHICH WILL BE GUIDED BY IMAGING. THEN I WILL STAY INPATIENT AT THE HOSPITAL FOR A FEW DAYS. AFTER MY THERAPY I WILL BE ON IMMUNOSUPPRESSANT DRUGS TO MAKE SURE MY BODY DOESN'T ATTACK THE "VECTOR". I WILL HAVE TO TAKE SOME TIME OFF FROM WORK AND SCHOOL, HOPEFULLY NO LONGER THAN TWO MONTHS.
GRETCHEN AND I WERE SEPARATED FOR A WHILE WHEN I HAD MY DEXA SCAN BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT HER EXPOSED TO UNNECESSARY RADIATION. THE TWO VIDEOS I ATTACHED OF HER WHINING WHEN SHE HAD TO STAY WITH MY MOM.
GRETCHEN HAD BEEN SO WONDERFUL WITH OUR MANY TRIPS TO BOSTON LATELY FOR TREATMENT, I SURELY COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT HER.
LOVE,
CORTNEY & GRETCHEN 

Dear Carlene,
Pixie and I have been so busy these past few weeks. I know I couldn’t have done all this running around without my girl keeping me safe to and keeping my legs going. We have had many doctor appointments, meetings for school preparations for younger son.
We have also been out and about on fun outings getting ready for my wedding which is only 8 days away. September 8th is the big day. Pixie will be the Flower girl and has something special that she will be wearing to. We have been shopping to get ready for the big day. Girls outings, lunches and gown fittings. Pixie always makes sure that my gown is coming along just perfect.

We have been going non stop and getting back to normal life routines which makes me so happy. I know I couldn’t be all these things each and every day without Pixie helping me along keeping me going. I’m so truly blessed.
