MARCH 26 2018

SPRING MUST BE HERE BECAUSE THE LOCAL FEED STORES HAVE THE BABY CHICKS IN.... NOW---- THERE IS A BRIEF EDUCATIONAL STORY... FOR YEARS I HAVE ORDERED CHICKS FROM STROMBERG CHICKS- BEFORE THERE WAS EVEN AN ONLINE TO BE ON....CAN YOU IMAGINE PAPER ORDERR FORM????  ANYWAY.. THEY HAVE ALL SORTS OF BREEDS CAREFULY LABELED WHAT COLOR EGGS TEHY LAy-- BOSTON EATS BROWN EGGS THAT ARE MARKETED "LOCAL EGGS ARE BROWN AND LOCAL EGGS ARE FRESH" WHERE IN NEW YORK.. THEY EAT ONLY  WHITE EGGS.. I DON;'T KNOW WHO EATS TEH BLUE ONES--- PROBABLY SOMEPLACE LIKE OMAHA -- BUT  THEY ARE ALL THE SAME...TEH CHICKS ARE HATCHED  IN HUGE  OPERATIONS-- ON A MONDAY...ALL SORTED BY SEX BY TUESDAY- PACKAGED  AND MAILED ON WEDNESDAY  DELIVERY  THURS OR FRIDAY.-APPARENTLY  IT IS EASIER TO TELL THE SEX IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS--HISTORICALLY IT WAS AN ORIENTAL TALENT TO DO THAT.... I NOW HEAR TEH REST OF THE WORLD HAS LEARNED...
THE  EGG LAYING  GIRL CHICKS MAY BE $3.43   WHILE "STRAIGHT RUN"  OF UNDETERMINED SEX MIGHT BE $2.25-- THOSE WILL BE 1/2 ROOSTERS
ROOSTERS ARE NOT A POPULAR ITEM IN MOST ANY COMMUNITY-- THEY'RE NOISY , NASTY-- AND USELESS BECAUSE THE HENS WILL LAY  EGGS  ANYWAY --- NON FERTILE EGGS -IT IS DEBATABLE IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE NURISHMENT WISE BETWEEN FERTILE AND NON....
SO WHEN THE MOVIE .. I THINK IT WAS HONOR BOUND.. WITH ?JOE PESCHE?  NEEDED TO CARRY A ROOSTER THRU HARVARD SQUARE,--- IN MY ROLE AS ANIMALEPISODES, I WAS CALLED ON TO PRODUCE A ROOSTER--- WITH 2 BACK UP ROOSTERS  THAT LOOK ALIKE---- AND SINCE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT KIND THEY WANTED THEY WANTED 5 DIFFERENT BREEDS- WHO IS COUNTING????? THAT IS 15 ROOSTERS...  I  AM PRETTY SURE THERE AREN'T 15 ROOSTERS IN ALL OF NEW ENGLAND....
HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WORSE.....
BECAUSE THE NEXT SHOT WITH THE ROOSTER WAS TO BE IN TORONTO, I HAD TO GET HEALTH CERTIFICATES ON ALL 15.

THE WAY IT WORKED OUT-- THEY PICKED ONE BREED WHICH LEFT ME WITH 12 HEALTHY ROOSTERS WHICH I DIDN'T WANT... AMONG THE SOLUTIONS WAS TO STOP IN SEVERAL HORSE BARNS I KNEW OF -- JUST FOR A SHORT VISIT...  SO THERE  WERE 12 STABLES WHO WONDERED WHERE  ON EARTH THE PET ROOSTER CAME FROM... I NEVER TOLD ANY OF TEHM...

WHY THE MOVE TO TORONTO??? INTERESTING---- THE FILM COMMUNITY  AROUND HERE IS A SMALL ONE-- RUMER HAD IT THAT THEY NEEDED TEH EXTERIER OF HARFVARD HERE  , BUT COULD DO ALL THE INTERIER STUFF IN TORONTO WHERE TEHE TEAMSTER UNIONS WERE MOREE FRIENDLY. SO THAQT IS WHY I HAD TO SEND TO MICHIGAN FOR 15 MATCHING ROOSTERS...
 THEY PAID WELL...

THE WHOLE THING WAS WORSE FOR TEH PRAYNG MANITS I HAD TO GET FROM AFRICA ( OTHER SIDE TEH EQUATER)... BECA USE IT WAS TEH WRONG SEASON HERE... FO R THE NEXT KARATE KID--  THE COCKROACHES WERE EASIER TO FIND...

Good morning. Sorry it has been a while. Rogue is doing great and very healthy.  It has been a long winter! Rogue continues to be her awesome self and has to be with me all the time.  She is enjoying her new cat sibling and wants to play with her and its vice versa.  Rogue is very gentle! I dont have beautiful story to tell but our update is simple.

Rogue still enjoys putting on her harness and going out when we can.  It has been a long winter here with strepp throat 3 times around the family. my you youngest having seizure episodes so we have been limited to lots of dr appts and food shopping.

Anyway  rogue is a very “talkative “ (not barking) dog and she communicates with us so well. Also we have learned so much from her.  That really is the key to a successful partnership learning and understanding your partners communication. Annie was an expert communicator and would let me know if she didnt want to lay in a spot and wanted a different spot.  Rogue is very similar.  So i know if she isnt wanting to lay down i check the spot or change spots. Sometimes she just needs my coat with her blanket because she doesnt like the smell of the ground. There is always a reason she wont do the thing i ask and as soon as i fix it she will do it.  Important to watch and listen to the dog partner.
