education is a wonderful thing.....we like to help people learn useful things....i had 3 comments like this..... ON TODAY’S SHATTING.   .  I DID NOT REALIZE THE CHICKENS SHAT SO SMALL.. it was a tidy shatting.... there was no way we could do a shatting  in the cold so we folded the "Table"  and doubled the numbers per sqquare and had it in front of the fireplace exactly behind my chairas i worked my computer .... i was getting details to the cpa so he coud do our 990-- before wednesday because we need it for the possibility of a very nice grant.  we  also doubled teh winners--then laura threw teh purple egg from the stairs  to determine the purple egg winner... i hope someone got a piture  i re-wrote rudyard kippling 's    "if you can keep your head when all about you- there are 7 people pasting little dots on a big table,someon in th ekitchen dishing out the pot luck food people brought... 8 blue winter jackets swing just over  my head --while 2 people are handing firewood over the table ti keep the fire going, -someone is on their hands and knees scolding 6 puppies  who are  fascinated byt eht 3 chickens  waiting  in a cardboard box  undr the table for their chance to perform---,and above it all, bentley is singing to let me know sizzle really would like to see him down in the laundry building so he coudl try and make us some more superer pups...( he has had none since teh accident, but the desire is there)   the chickens performed promptly   and were removed back to the chicken coop... while linda noted teh winners and everyone began to eat food and pick off all the little round numbered dots, fold up the tables  in prep for next month... it is an amazing performance-- and keeps us solvent with $20,000 per month to meet the payroll !! linda and i got the numbers to the cpa... thay guy  deserves a gold star for bravery to take us on... **** miserable weather, but all our volunteers have been super-- the best we can do is to provide the best equipment to cope with  mother nature..  disney really did ithat with all the blue jackets--so many wore yesterday...if any of the purple shirters have not got a jacket yet.. we do still have osme... the other complication of teh day was teh  little glass bowl that teh deisel fuel runs thru to keep the tractor running got froen and broke... bless the CP that abotu a year ago sent us apacket of some goop you put a blue light on and it solidifies..so tanner and father( steve )got the tractor running *** this new   cpa person tim has pulled together our 990 with a minimum of confusion-- linda was a huge help... she remembers amazing things .. like where stuff is located.. in the overflow room....  that is another episode which  could stand to be discussed  as a matter of fact-- there are alot of things- very pequiliar--- our cp's look out for us-- and sometimes their  generosity isunusual/odd  but always useful--the cartons of gormet foods which are on the front porch on top of the firewood becaues  theu stay as frozen there as walking therm to the walkin freezer--- like the pallet of chlorox wipes in the cellar    we use so often--   we sure got  'em now !! then there is our oven collection...  one for megan if she ever needs a wall oven- and one deamed useless til bud fixed it for $13..-- the brand new toilet collection from steve... is also blocking the beautiful buggy janine had to buy for some reason i forogt...-- our nearly new commercial electric dryer we had to replace with gas because we literally ran out of available electiricity.. it is all very useful stuff.... **** someday pockets will get hooked to that buggy !!!  there is a harness that will fit her in the hay loft-- i better not start thru the contents there- the second  thing that comes to mind are the thousnads of little plastid perfectly useful dog food containers... ***** and it is so cold, i will do everythhg  i can to stay in here and be useful here... bless all those younger legs who can run thru the wind.... we are functioning 100%  due to everyone else's efforts. !!  new shatting board.... http://www.memsaic.com/app/launch.cfm?sid=01D3CCB2AAE9D7
