THE  HALF TIPI STANDS !!  NOW IF WE CAN JUST GET SOME SHADE MATERIAL DRAPED ON IT... MAYBE IT WILL SOLVE THE  PROBLEM OF ENJOPYING THE PUPS PN PUPPY HILL IN THE AFTERNOON SUN...
COURTNEY SENT US A GREAT HARDER PLASTIC POOL FOR THE PUPS...-- AND WE PUT UP A HORIZONTAL TARP TO PROVICE SHADE.. BOY DO THOSE BLACK PUPS UNDERSTAND SHADE...  -- AS THE SUN MOVED AND THE SHADE CLIMBED UP THE HILL-- SO DID THEY... ALL 8 IN A LINE RIGH ALONG THE SHADED PART.. ONE PUP EVEN TIPTOED ALONG TEH 18" SHADE OF A TREE TRUNK... EVERY TIME HE STEPPED OUT , HE STEPPED RIGHT BACK IN AGAIN...

AND my  BLACK BLUE JEANS REALLY DEMONSTRATED THE PROBLEM... THEY GET BURNING HOT IN THE NOON SUN...  WHICH SuRE REMINDS ME ABOTU BLACK SERVICE DOGS / HOT PAVEMENT AND  THINGS LIKE THAT....
****
WHICH GOT  ME WONDERING  ABOUT SPIT../ SALIVA.. I HAVE NOTICED  DOG SALIVA DRIES QUICKLY...  I HAVE HAD YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AT SOME THINGS....the PROBLEM  WITH LIFE IN GENERAL IS MAKING CONNECTIONS TO ODD BITS  OF KNOWLEDGE...
IN THIS CASE...MY QUESTION IS.. "IF FROM HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS CLASS  I LEARNED EVAPORATION IS A COOLING PROCESS... MIGHT THE PANTING A DOG DOES HAVE TO DO WITH THE  EVAPORATION OF THE SALIVA  WHICH WOULD COOL THE BLOOD FLOW TO HIS HEAD AREA...?
*****
MOVING ON...THE TOPIC OF SPIT... I DISCUSSED SPIT  WITH STEVE #4 WHILE RELAXING IN THE T TENT..... JERI HAD SCRATCHED HERSELF AND PROCEEDED TO COVER IT WITH A BANDAID ...IN AN EFFORT TO CLEAN OFF TEH WOUND... STEVE SAID  " USE SPIT LIKE WE DID WHEN WE WERE KIDS"
BRINGING ME BACK TO ... IS THERE SOME  GENETIC VALUE IN SPIT - PRODUCED BY THE INDIVIDUAL HAVING THE WOUND...I ANM NOT PROMOTING CROSS SPITTING WITHOUT CHECKING THE SPIT TYPE... LIKE BLOOD TYPE-- PERHAPS YOU COULD-- WHICH WOULD INVOLVE  RED CROSS SPIT BANKS FOR  THINGS LIKE BURN VICTIMS.

THOU SHALT NOT  RIDICULE-- WASN'T IT A GUY WITH MOULDY BREAD WHO FOUND IT KILLED BACTERIA?-- MAYBE HE WAS JUST CLEANING OUT THE ICE BOX  ( ICE BOX... . TOO LONG AGO FOR  REFRIGERATION)  AND CUT HIMSELF ON THE ICE PICK... WHICH WHEN IT  BRUSHED AGAINST THE  MOULDY BREAD IT WS MAGICALLY HEALLED...  THE MOST MAGICAL PART WAS---- HE NOTICED IT...
DOGS LICK THIER WOUNDS- WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE...  SO NOW WE MIGHT CONSIDER  NOT ONLY THE HEALING QUALITIES, BUT ALSO THE REFRIGERATION QUALITIES OF EVAPORATION OF   DOG SPIT...
SO MAYBE MY NOTICING THE MAGNIFICANT PROPERTIES OF DOG SPIT , WILL EVENTUALLY SAVE HUMANITY.
MAYBE IT IS THE  WD40 OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER.---
 STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED...

LIKE  EATING JELLY FISH PREVENTS ALZHEIMER'S ?   WHO  DISCOVERED THAT  ( AND HOW???)

as for my randy rainbow hat--- the guy is  a talented broadway preformer currently having a good time with the trump admin... however he is an equal opportunity criticizer ... looking back he had something to say about hillary and a few others... his singing  "covfefe" to the andrew lloyd webber "cat" music is  worth  a laugh.
i too am an equal opportunity critizer...polititians in general ask for it-------many times  a good laugh is all these polititians are good for.
laughing is a good thing.

Just heard from Janna from EBSCO,  evidently the Boston Red Sox are planning something special in appreciation to team Charlie and the Service Dog Project at Fenway Park on Sunday. Jana has been on the phone with the Red Sox all day coordinating everything. Janna is going to stop by tomorrow with food and finalize the details on whatever is going on. I will be attending the game with Charlie and my wife Michelle.

Hi Carlene,
Rocco and I have been away from the farm since June 7.
Rocco and I are starting to work together pretty well. Some situations are still hard for him because of a lot of distractions. I am starting to be able to anticipate those situations and adjust so it is easier for both of us. My independence is greatly improved as well as my activity level. Before Rocco and I met my step count daily was 300-500 steps a day. Very limited and inactive. Since we have been together I’ve ranged from 1000 to 3200 steps per day. Amazing. Now I have to work on my conditioning so I have the energy to keep improving.  Having him with me takes a lot of the anxiety away from when I only had my cane or walker with me. I’ve gone to the grocery store, Home Depot, the Hospital, a nursing home and the Veterinarian just to name a few places.

Rocco is always aware where I am and he is starting to anticipate when I might need him. This started yesterday. When I stand up he starts to come to me and goes to my left side by himself. He helps me up and down stairs and around the house.
Thanks for all you have done for Carol and me. This is a fantastic journey so far..
