short doggie...
janine is in the hospital on the cape cod.. she had an upset stomach on friday-- ignored it on saturday.. it really got bad sunday when she called me for advice.. she had tried the usual--pepto and all that....apparently it got even worse...so peter took her to the hospital and it is her appendix- not knowing whether it ruptured yet or not... i called this morning and they can not even tell me how she is...
she just called... rest of the story... sunday she and peter went for a 20 mile bike ride on cape cpd..... and she said it got so bad she had to quit...-- granted she is now "heavily medicated" this morning but they will operate on her this morning--
we discussed..... what did we miss? and one thing would have been logical to do ,,maybe... yet to ask officially.... if and appendix is an infection... tht would mean an elevated temperature ?? we should have thought of that?
there is the old wives tale --- do all the simple things first-- temp should have been one of them.
she also said.....she has so little belly fat that they could not tell with the cat scan whether it had ruptured or not.
if so she has a few more days in the hospital-- according to her( heavily medicated ) self.
life's learning process goes on...and on...

other lesson of the day... pam let the pups out to eat breakfast in the front of the house... off camera..
and they moved their bowels ou ther before comming in...
lesson was --- they came in and dove in the water dish - i wouljd not have thought they would be that thiwsty after dampened dry food.. but they sure were !! so we need a water supply out there even for the short time before they come back in....
they are konked out now...

6:37 the morning serenade with bentley and chaos.... is getting to be a ritual... bentley comes and stnads by my elbow and makes a tiny noise... if i answetr him,, he starts in--- joined by chaos and finally mindy...

the only thing i can do to help out the janine situation..... is....... guess....do something with wanda -- currently peter has wanda... and janine said he might take her to his office ( apparently he has his own room/office) but it is in burlington ma....-- which is within my range of motion...

yesterday was dog bathing day--- started with murphy's spedcial medicated bath-- and finally ?10 others???

now for the rubber ducky report...
he is hung out -- you can probably see him with the puppy hill camera when it turns...he apparently suffered a submarine attack and has 4 holes all same size- trianglar. we will be trying out that flex tape they brag about holding a boat together....
i think we lost his running lights in the battle......
