dec 4 2020 smuckers seat belts

Cinnamon candy ---dog parks ---and tomato juice--- .daughter Dwayne  skyped—or whatever...called and while she was on her treadmill she gave me those three ideas the most interesting I think was red cinnamon candy--- the little red candies that you could buy in  a bag...  she put them in her blender and got them down into a real powder and mix them up with homemade Apple sauce she said it's wonderful she said it has a very distinct flavor of those cinnamon candies and applesauce that's an interesting idea--- second thing it's a good thing I wrote it down because I can't remember oh she apparently ran her husband made homemade and preserved tomato juice and she said that is so far superior to anything you could buy and she said it really was quite simple----- she does alot of things like that up in or Xi'an he do in that ball jars the Canning process where you boil and sterilize the jars and things like that now that she's working at home with everybody else she's getting very strange things done---- the other thing is the dog park in Asheville  North Carolina  I googled...  Wagbar is a dog park bar in Asheville, NC that serves beer, wine, cider and fun for dogs and people.-------with the bar in the middle and it all functions very well everybody is 10 feet apart wonderground drinking and enjoying their dogs it's run very carefully with people picking up after the dogs all the time it's very clean what an interesting idea maybe that would be enough to have towns put in a dog park up here because once you got a leash law the dogs have no freedom and I just don't think that's quite right but you put a bar in the middle and you might persuade a few more people to participate I know in new in New England there is a town green where they used to graze animals seems to me they could they could give a part of that for dogs like dogs are such a big part of everybody's life nowadays specially when so many medical people are telling people go get a puppy OK well they're going to get a puppy but it's going to grow .

Gwen is very observant – and has corgi’s who are very interesting dogs. she showed me.... one of her’s stood behind her aND BARKED...  BECAUSE IT WANTED A DRINK, AND THE OTHER CORGI WAS GUARDING THE WATER BOWL...  I AM NOT SURE I WOULD HAVE NOTICED.. BUT SHE HAS MOVED THE WATER TO TH E MIDDLE OF THE ROOM

NOW...  FYI  the  #$%^  rubbing seat belt.....

SMUCKERS HARNESS MAKERS IN PENNA....  I CALLED THEM LOOKING FOR SOME BRASS RINGS   WHICH THEY HAD.. AND IN THE PROCESS ON PAGE 43 OF THEIR CATlogue --I ran into harness pads --- I know those pads -- really well made... ..... look like a perfect solution ot the seat belt    -problem.... I had 8 red ones for my reindeers  so I ordered one...  they might be a bit much in the summer  but the 4 inch wide 27 long in purple sounded good to me.

Sounds like it will hold me vertical when I nap in the car

Goldie.... the ghost of the lefthand drawer--  you people think I make this up..... well try this....

We have a service dog who is too fascinated with squirrels..  who is due here today  to rethink the p[roblem...   so with my bottle of squirrel urine, Recharged batteries in the electric collars and two very cute very fuzzy squirrels we attempted to set up a scene where we could discourage this dog .....

now couple that with the fireplace story the chimney fixer that I called knew of service dog project and used to show great Danes .. they arrived and looked over the situation decided what needed doing and then wanted to go see the puppies so it took him down they were having a wonderful time playing with the puppies and I happened to ask her if she had any pets ... and she said she has a pet squirrel .. bottle fed from one week old lives in her house now how many times does that going to happen ..  here's a day when Laura Bella and Linde or all messing about with the fake squirrel in urine and dogs and up the driveway comes somebody who has a pet squirrel ..

I'm not sure what we should do about that---   maybe I should wait for Goldie to tell me .. but these kind of coincidences happened so often around here ..  my favorite is talking about needing  some fry pans to hand feed the donkeys .. and in that  same night's Mail call   ...I got 2 purple  fry pans .

 ---

This chimney outfit sounds like they know exactly what they're doing and there is a process of smearing the walls with some goop that seals s it off and everything sounds absolutely wonderful .. next problem is they must have at least 48 degrees temperature and if you look at the temperature expected for the next month there's not one   48 degree day..  the goup that they'd use apparently gets processed get stirred up on the ground and then pumped up to the chimney ..

well we own two bullet heaters ..  so if I run one through the galvanized what the hell are they stovepipe tubes into those fireplace that ought to keep that above 48 degrees so now if I could just figure out how to cover a 2 inch diameter PVC pipe which carries the group from the ground level up to the chimney to be poured down the chimney that cannot drop below 48 degrees

I have Bud working on this too .. He knows more about those bullet heaters than I do .. I had vision of one of them in the bucket of the tractor shooting hot air through that pipe into the fireplace and since he rises it ought to go up by itself after that .. now if I could figure out how to heat the two inch wide PVC pipe up to the top of the chimney maybe we will have a nice fireplace before Christmas .. I hope ..

we have a lot of that stovepipe around here it is if you're just buying it plain it's not very expensive ---there's some leftover from the dryer in the cellar . and they wood burning stove in the welcome tent that never got hooked up I bet I can come up with 20 feet without too much trouble in a 2 foot section of it is only a couple dollars anyway ....and we already have the moving blankets to cover it all up with so if we start with hot water try and keep the pot warm before they pump it --  see all that interior of the pump would have to be be warmed also .. I thought I thought of big stick it all up in my living room and pumping it up through a skylight to the chimney

how big a mess can they make it hasn't already been made that living room ...personally I think that would be the solution warm the chimney and makes it my living room

Now that I think about it it would not be hard to do on the back deck it will be much shorter run up to the chimney ..  somehow we gotta do it

here's a cut and paste
