financially--- i am me, sdp is a charity ---- janine is janine and ern (EQUINE RESCUE NETWORK) is a charity
i drive my toyota sequoia and love it.
i bought teh blue ford truck so janine would stop borrowing my car to pull her rescues donkeys to mass from penna.
----operative word here "i" bought it.
janine had to personally own a car because of insurance on her college age son's car
***** she bought a used ford expidition -- huge and comfortable ---could tow a horse trailer-
teh expidition had a drinking problem-- it got 2.3 miles to a galloon ( obvious estimate...)
trainers here were using their own cars too much-- and i needed to do something
i swapped teh blue truck for teh expidition-- which still had $14k on her car loan.
i personally paid off teh 14k somehow... sdp also did not like the drinking pproblem of that huge car. and turned that ford in on teh purchase of teh 2 rav4's and teh camray... which sdp bought for the trainers to use
***then i paid $3400 in a really absurd dribble and drabble of one tiny expense after another to get teh ( sdp owned ) highlander thru inspection-- it had 295,000 miles on it.... and now runs fine... i had intended to donate it to a young volunteer who could use it-- mostly to get here to volunteer....however thaT FELL THRU- so teh trainers are using it, nice car--- never would expect it os over 300,000 now.
***janine ... working in boston had a problem parking the blue truck-- too tall for teh parking garage where she works.---she lives on a split second time schedule- and really wanted one of the rav 4's so she could carry hay to feed the different batches of rescued donkeys she has parked around the county.
teh 2 raV4'S ARE A VERY SGTRANGE -- NOT VERY ATTRACTIVE ORANGE COLOR-- BUT THEY MATCH--- AND I CAN FIND TEHM IN A PARKING LOT... TEH CAMRY IS A NORMAL GREY WHICH BLENDS IN TOO MUCH-- SO I LET HER USE TEH CAMRY TIL "SUMMER AND INTERNS MIGHT NEED IT"
WELL SUMMER IS HERE-
SHE DOES NOT THINK THE BLUE TRUCK WILL MAKE IT TO PENNA AND BACK TOO OFTEN she fears another episode of being stuck on the geroge washing ton bridge with a load of donkeys in the trailelr at rush hour.( police had her out of there in an exciting 23 minutes)
***so she -- is thinking of buying a decient truck for teh penna trips which she can jolly well afford-- .. --ERN is why she needs teh truck.. that puts her back in teh position of not having a car to commute.
i think the 2 rav4's and camray are reg to sdp as is teh highlander-- the blue truck is reg to ... i think.. janine.
every time you swap arojund cars in this state...you have to pay a whppping $555 sales tax..--- unless between family members
so who owns what car and why???

all of that made me think......
in teh beginning of SDP, megan and i trained dogs, ran teh kennels, we had very few supporters and bought our purina pro plan at costco and sams every weekend-- a 15 bags at a time on a BIG cart.
my biggest problem then was to have enough donations so teh irs would let me be a charity-- you can not haVe one person supporting a charity-- you need ? 33% general public--- sometime the only way i could get teh 33% was to not include some of the expenses i personally paid for... but it kept the irs haqppy- and we are now really correct.
and we grew. as did our benefitting the rest of teh world-- HOWEVER....
teh number of organizations we must now keep happy ALSO GREW.. -- the list is long
IRS --- ADA ---- ADI---- USDA ---MA ATTNY GEN - ----MA EMPLOYMENT ---- INSURANCE WORLD ---- ALL TEH WAY DOWN TO THE IPSWICH -- HEALTH-- BUILDING-- AND ANIMAL CONTROL... NOT TO MENTION FACEBOOK AND THE SIDEWALK SUPERINTENDENTS ON TEH INTERNET WHO CAN NOT POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND WHY I TEAR MY HAIR,
WHY DID I NOT MAKE THE CAFE LE DONK BIGGER? BECAUSE I DELIVERED 125,000 MAGAZINES AT 4 CENTS EACH TO BE ABLE TO MAKE IT THE SIZE THAT IT IS.

THE GOOD NEWS I THINK SIZZLE MAY HAVE SWALLOWED TEH WATERMELLON SEED. -- FIRST WEEK IN AUGUST MIGHT BE EXCITING AROUND HERE....
AND TO THE OWNERS OF TIGGER, WHO HOPEFULLY READ THIS.... REMEMBER... HE NEEDS A LITTLE COLD WET WASH CLOTH ACTON TO GET HIS EQUIPMENT BACK WHERE IT BELONGS.
