rizz owner sent a great video of rizz doing the public access test.... confident dog doing her job... i wish at teh end she had scrolled up to show she works at the department of aggriculture. the video is around somewhere....
my "friends" those usda people- ....who haqd a great deal to do with my starting to train service dogs..... way back when...... i was "in business" as animal episodes, i needed to be certified by the usda-- i have always had a problem with paperwork as you all know...consequently... i can not tell you most of the stories about those regulations which i considered most pequiliar.... inspector #1 was insistant all animals have a number-- i did have one.. a donkey--- his name was Seven-- ( donqui, and seven were the lead team tehn omar, and timmy, parsley and peanut then and leroy, and weenie were teh "wheelers" who did 95% of teh pulling.) they all got numbers and she was happy..\
inspector #2 was a veternarian from teh usda-- from washingtonmn dc... nice man-- that did not make the rules any less absurd.... he insisted that the 6.5 foot horse type fence i had around teh dogs was insufficient and they must have the typical kennel fencing-- chain link with teh bar at the top---
the way he put it - "just do it- or i can write you up as having dust on the windows in your chicken coop and you would have to vacuum them"
so with great financial difficulty- i bought teh necessary chain link-- $7000 worth- nearly wiped me out... he gave me my "cert number" which still is nailed over the door of the T TENT- and went away. within a day or two, my stud dog got his feet over that top bar and got out to breed 3 females- so 63 days later i had 23 great dane puppies... nice puppies, but there is not a big market for selling puppies--
when you have too many lemons... you make lemonaid..- so i got into training service dogs./
****
so today-- on camera.. you will not see us trying to load teh tractor on the dump trailer--- i don't approve of large objets raised high off teh ground-- too many unknown factors may convince gravity to take over-- janine is needing a bunch of fence post holles to be dug quickly for this "rest home for retired work horses" - my dump trailer should hold the tractor easily... .. but the 2 ramps are only 14 inches wide--making me nervous-- i think to de-stress me for the day, it will be easier for me to hire a car towing outfit to take teh tractor teh 5 miles to her project. that swill geive me time to figure out all about things like "farm plates" and maybe then drive it home--- it would be easier if her project were not on route 1--- that is number 1 highway in teh whole united states... maine to florida-- so to tie it up at 15 miles per hour can not be done quietly
i think i am most nervous because my father told of many workers being killed loading heavy equipment, so he invented teh trailer loading ramp which you see all over.. a right angle which rotates down to make a sturdy ramp...--that patent never made him a dime --- someone changed teh hinge and blew the pattent rights ... but he had great fun making it-- and you see them all over. i bet i see 3 a day.
so now i havto find someone will let me borrow it to move the tractor...
such is life.
