in a struggle to keep our eye on our missions.....i want to make it clear-- we do like visitors and we do need volunteers to work and help us... so in the process... we would like to try keeping track of who is on the property and why -- it has got out of hand- there are people wandering around no one seems to know.-- either that or they don't come often enough for me to remember who they are... whatever... i am pretty good with staff names-- all 14 of them-- and janine's-- but linda came up with the idea of-- sign in with name tags. my memory was a challangeable sort at the age of 20- and it has not got any better...when it is really bad is when teh staff does not know who is here or why... either...
i hate to say to aNYONE " HAVE YOU BEEN HERE BEFORE?"
AND HAVE THEM SAY " I HAVE BEEN COMING EVERY THURSDAY FOR FIVE YEArs."

it would help in the writing of grants to be able to say 937 people come there every month---

totally open house was and will remain sundays 12 to 4--- we can welcome anyone during the week but you should give linda/donna at the office a heads up. for bus loads try and let us know at least 5 minutes ahead..

FIRST TEH ANIMAL HAS TO LEARN TO LEARN- WHAT I HOPE TO START IS
. SET THE TRACTOR BUCKET HIGH
PUT THE STRONG BOX IN FRONT OF IT.
LEAVE A FRY PAN WITH A 1/4 CUP OF GRAIN ON THE BOX
HALTER ON POCKETS
LEAD HER OUT THE CAFE LE DONK GATE AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE BOX
LET HER EAT TEH GRAIN.
PUT TEH FRY PAN IN THE TRACTOR BUCKET- WITH ANOTHER HANDFUL
GET HER LEFT FOOT ONTEH BOX
AND ENCOURAGE HER TO LIFT AND GET THE GRAIN
BACK HER DOWN AND CIRCLE AND DO teh foot lifting again....
PROBABLY 20 MINUTES And take her back
twice a day... 10 am and 3 pm on puppy hill camera
about the third day you do this, i would expect you no longer have to take her to the box
or lift a foot-- or have teh tractor there... so you end up with a donkey running to the box and standing there saying "where's the oats?"
and hopefully-- what else do you want me to learn????
if that happens we are off and running ...

HELLO I WENT TO THE VA HOSPITAL IN BROCKTON ON TUESDAY SO THAT ELLA COULD SEE HER BOY FRIEND A BLACK LABRADOR FROM NEADS THEY SEE EACH OTHER ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, ELLA WORKS VERY HARD EVERYDAY WITH ME AND THAT IS HER FREE TIME TO PLAY SO WE WENT OUT SIDE WITH THE TWO DOGS AND THEY WERE PLAYING AND JUMPING AROUND WITCH HAPPEN TO MAKE ME FALL TO THE GROUND AS SOON AS I HIT THE GROUND I SAID OUCH AND ELLA CAME RUNNING TO ME AND PLAYED ON THE GROUND RIGHT NEXT TO ME. WITH HER HEAD ON MY BACK AND THEN I JUST SAID ELLA PULL PAPA UP SHE STOOD UP AS SHE WAS GETTING UP I STARTED TO STAND UP AND ALL SHE DID WAS LOVE ALL OVER ME .MY COUNCILOR COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT ELLA HAD DONE TO HELP ME AND LOVE ON ME I LOVE ELLA SO MUCH SHE IS MY LIFE THANK YOU SDP SO MUCH.
