Friday morning. 9:00-ish apparently there is a meeting of veteran type people which caused me to sit here at 2:00 in the morning and think about that project ----50 years ago (God is that real ??)... in 1979 when I was trying to plan this place and it was solid forest I thought that Janine would be into galloping horses for events and to that end I tried to make that circle that's now around “A” and I built a ramp up to the driveway and then down the other side ----off to the arena..
we now use the left hand turn into our parking area... but there is another ramp off the right hand side just before the granite sign that says crazy acres.. and I think that we could make that a ramp for cars and have that area be parking for the veterans who would then go off in that direction toward the area they are trying to develop or something.. it still would leave room for having dog runs out of the nuthouse I think..
that is my early morning brainstorm... Parking is getting to be a terrible problem around here cars belong in the parking lot and the only cards through the gate should be handicapped or elderly people and buses... everybody else should park in the parking lot and just walk probably at least 300 feet.
all the dog people could actually go through that gate straight to their original 10 kennels that started this whole mess and they wouldn't have to walk or drive through the yard. Before I hot topped the driveway there were many God-given potholes which worked very nicely as speed bumps. it does seem stupid to have to carve a hole in the hot top to recreate Potholes. in order to slow people down.

We have a beautiful picture of pockets in her new life in Colorado.. I think she will be a fine addition to a fine outfit.. I wish I had a few more pictures of our jaunt down memorial drive so I could write that for the newspaper so if anybody has a good clear picture of the donkeys on mem drive please send it to my e-mail animalep@ aol.com....
I had a request to include some of the information I have gleaned from the various hearing aids that I have tried.. and I think all these ones that are just in your ear have not really helped much at all ---- they do make things louder but I still can't understand the words.. the best one I have and believe me it's only marginal is the one where I actually have earphones on some metal thing over my head and a cigarette package size black box clip to my shirt somewhere... that's the best of the bunch but it's not great.. whatever it was I had in the courtroom which was that same design.. well it's absolutely perfect so I am sure that ones do exist for $7 million.
as for our name changing-- nwhich is getting to be annoying.....
our insurance people objecterd to the "crazy" part -- so we went with goldys farm... but it turns out... we have to apply to the town for the second name-- and that involves getting another permit of some kind.... i have heard janine-- from north carolina is dealilng.. i just don't do well with things like "permits" as we all knbow..
so all the webs need changing or modifying-- along with our vital support of hay and the goldys board-- so please don't get discouraged... we will get there... and need all the help we can get... the veteran project should not be of any concern to the town--- it is back against the willodale forest...and it is what we do anyway.
when i was a kid there was a game "may I" where you asked permission to take a step,, i hated that game-- never did i think at 80+ i would be living it !!!
