even without swearing !!!!
YOU DID A GREAT JOB OF BREAKING UP THE BRIEF TUSSLE BETWEEN JIMINY AND LARKY, YESTERDAY - AND YOU EVEN MANAGED TO DO IT WITHOUT SWEARING! VERY IMPRESSIVE!
i thank the many people who congratulated me for the speed and efficiencey-- especially since i never really thought about what i said or did... it was all instinct..
therein lies the problem.....my instincts and training are outdated, i am told, so in spite of the fact that they have worked for so long , there will always be some people out there on this internet who are too ready to criticize ....and people who are ... quite rightly so.... afraid of them. to ask me to modify my behavior to keep the entire internet happy jest aint gonna happen. my dog training has never in any way been abusive... take it from. the top... abusive training doesn't work. to use your open hand to correct the behavior of a dog is sometimes necessary-- but being an open hand is self limiting-- too hard you would hurt your own hand....in my mind letting a dog misbehave is the short road to being locked away.. which is the ultimate abuse.... which i see all the time--i can not allow my dogs to be closeted away because i did not show them the correct way to behave. so now i am on the carpet for requiring a dog to move just a little quicker at lying down in a restaurant.. time to get off the carpet.
i do not know what the solution is.

Good afternoon,
I am the lucky recipient of Kringle five years ago this week. With Kringle I have traveled to 35 states and 4 countries. If you don’t remember me I suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm and was left with no feeling in my right side. I also have constant vertigo. Due to your precious gift Kringle and I have hiked at many of these 35 states to go against what the doctors predicted that I would never walk again.
With that being said, Kringle is aging and will be turning seven in September. I have two children. One lives in Arizona studying to become a doctor and the other is attending the US Naval Academy. Even though I can’t drive I travel to visit my children, and explore the US with friends and my husband. Therefore, within the next 6 months to a year I will be in need of a new service dog to keep me walking. Nothing can replace my angel, Kringle, but she is slowing down and deserves her rest.
