THE CALENDARS ARE LOADED IN ENVELOPES AND IN MY CAR.... TO DRIVE AROUND TODAY AND FIND FRIENDLY POST OFFICES T WHICH I CAN DROP ONE VOLUNTEER AND ONE BOX..  ACTUALLY TOPSFIELD IS VERY ACCOMODATING.. AT LEAST THEY DON'T RUN AND HIDE WHEN WE APPEAR WITH THE  CALENDAR ORDERS...  HALEY DID GET 1/2 THE FOREIGN ONES MAILED YESTERDAY AND JUDY TOOK THE OTHER HALF FOREIGN HOME WITH HER TO TRY HER LOCAL P.O.  I HOPE SHE HAS HER CREDIT CARD WITH HER-- I DID NOT GIVE HER OURS..

MY CAR IS SO FULL I DON'T THINK I CAN GET ANOTHER PERSON AND DOG IN THERE...  BUT WE WILL TRY...

JANINE SWAPPED DONKEYS AROUND YESTERDAY AMID OVER 90 COMMENTS ON FACEBOOK... LUCKILY I DON'T READ FACEBOOK...  BUT APPARENTLY EVERYONE WAS UPSET ONE WAY OR ANOTHER... LUCKILY SHE DID.... I KNEW ABOUT THOSE FENCES/GATES  TOO...  TRACTOR SUPPLY HAS A BUNCH.... AND I SEE THEM EVERY TIME I GO THERE...  WHICH IS OFTEN..... AND IS  ANOTHER TOPIC... I AM CHANGING FEED STORES  TO AVOID  AN UNPLEASENT  EMPLOYEE...

THE OLD FEED STORE IS   "THE CO-OP"  BEEN THERE FOR 100 YEARS (PROBABLY LITERALLY...) AND IT HAS BEEN WHERE I HAVE BOUGHT GRAIN AND HAY FOR YEARS...  HOWEVER.....  I WAS JUST TOLD YESTERDAY THAT 2 OF OUR TRAINERS WILL NO LONGER GO IN THE  CO-OP  BECAUSE OF ONE WOMAN WHO JUST DOES NOT APPROVE OF ME/US--WE SHOULD NOT BE BREEDING DOGS UNLESS WE HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE ON THEM...  TO DO THAT  IS ABOTU $60,000 IF DRIVING AROUND TO DOG SHOWS CHASING  THE JUDGE THAT  LIKES YOUR KIND OF DOG-- AND WORRYING ABOUT WHICH SPOT IS WHERE ON THE HARLS....  JUST NOT MY BAG....  I JUST PREFER TO  BE CONVINCED MY DOGS ARE BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE'S -- AN D LET IT GO AT THAT.  SAVES ALOT OF GRIEF AND AGGRAVATION.... I AM TIRED OF LISTENING TO HOW BAD I AM... SO I WILL GO TO TRACTOR SUPPLY

FYI..... THERE IS TAX FREE AND THEN THERE IS FREE OF TAXES
IF I BUY SOME CRACKED CORN FOR THE CHICKENS, IT  IS TAX FREE  BECAUSE IT IS A FOOD PRODUCING ITEM... IF I BUY THE SAME CRACKED CORN PACKAGED FOR HORSES- THERE IS A TAX ON IT. -- AND THE TRACTOR WSUPPLY STORE, BEING NEW ONLY KNEW OF THE FOOD PRODUCING TYPE-- AND THEY HAVE A HUGE PRINTOUT OF  NON TAXABLE ITEMS..  AND THEN I CAME IN WITH MY ST-2 FORM-- BECAUSE WE ARE A CHARITY WE DO NOT PAY TAXES ON ANYTHING RELATE TO OUR CHARITY. ( AND I TRY AND BE PRETTY EXACT ON THAT) 
 TRACTOR SUPPLY - HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND THE CASHIER KEPT SHOWING ME THIS HUGE LIST OF WHY I HAD TO PAY $.83 TAX ON  A SOCKET WRENCH I NEEDED TO DEAL WITH THE CHAIN LINK PANNELS..  I WAS IN NO HURRY... SO I RODE IT OUT  FOR NEARLY 45 MINUTES OF STORE MANAGERS AND CALLS TO CHICAGO...  WITH ME SAYING .. I DON'T PAY TAXES ON SUPPLIES FOR SDP.. AND THE MANAGER SAYING  "YOU CANT EAT THE PLIERS"   IT WAS A VERY STRANGE 45 MINUTES...
I FINALLY GAVE UP AND LEFT SAYING "PLEASE ;LOOK INTO IT"  AND 2 HOUR LATER TEH MGR CALLED BACK AND SAID "OOOHHHHH"

WE DID FIND A GREAT HOME FOR THE 2 GIRLS--- SOMEONE WITH 3 ACRES   5 KIDS AND FENCED ---- WHAT MORE COULD THEY WANT...LATEST REPORT WAS THAT THE DOGS TRAVELED VERY WELL AND WERE DOING "SUPER"     THEY ARE NICE DOGS...  SEALY IS A BIT TIMID, BUT WILL WORK OUT OF IT  I AM PRETTY SURE... THEY WILL  STAY TOGETHER.

NOT SURE IF ANY OF THE "LAWYER TYPES" FOLLOWED UP ON YOUR DD QUERY ABOUT WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IN CONGRESS VOTED FOR THE ORIGINAL RIDICULOUS ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY.

WHILE NOT AN AMERICAN, I DID LOCATE THAT SENATOR CHUCK GRASSLEY SPONSORED THE ORIGINAL 1995 CONGRESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY LEGISLATION THAT CREATED THE "OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE" AND THE ORIGINAL CONVOLUTED PROCESS AND DEADLINES INVOLVED IN MAKING HARASSMENT COMPLAINTS IMBEDDED IN IT. 

THE FIRST LINK GIVES A LIST OF INITIAL SENATE VOTES, WHICH LOOKS TO BE PRETTY EVENLY DISTRIBUTED BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND CONSERVATIVES. BUT THE FINAL VOTE IN SENATE, WITH CHANGES, WAS BY UNANIMOUS CONSENT, SO NO RECORD OF VOTES WAS MADE. THE 2ND LINK GIVES GENERAL INFO ON THE OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE.



PERHAPS IT WAS PASSED ORIGINALLY WITH FULL SUPPORT BECAUSE EVEN HAVING AN OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE, NO MATTER HOW ARDUOUS AND DISCOURAGING THE COMPLAINTS PROCESS WAS, WAS DEEMED A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION? OR PERHAPS, AGAIN, IT WAS LIKE PUTTING LIPSTICK ON A PIG, TO COIN A RATHER APT EXPRESSION. 😊
