short doggie
i really need to go sit withthe puppies that i just scolded badly... they ar tooooooo vocal the y are not barking now... and i want to go be friendly before they start again... those 4 black pups are spoiled rotten.. which is cute now... but at 150 pounds it is life threatening ( theirs) so i had to go sit with them and pat them when the were quiet and ( gently) smack noses that either barked or bit me. has to be-- now is the time....
problem is--- they get to screaming and sitters spread food which does quiet them-- but also teadches them to scream... objuect is to anticipate the hunger and spread 2 cuops of dry food for a snack before they start to scream...

so i can't get 2 thoughts together othr than deal with those 4 pups... when they sit quietly ii pat nd praise if they bark and bite they get a sharp no-- which affects them all unless you swing at the one who made the noise... it takes a very critical timing effort for the barking pup to be the one in a group, to get the message.. while not making timid souls of the rest...
i must run again... i almost have it down to steve's one pointed finger....with a dominant glare.

the one baindaid on the "happy" tail is still holding--it is a lesson in less is better... another option is to bandage the front leg and let her rip that up and maybe forget about the one baindaid on her tail...
bleeding wagging tails are a terrible thing--- often leading to major surgery to dock thm....
