late start... i got sidetracked...
last night ? afternoon/ courtney called and said they quick needed to run a live show wiht charlie and "pen" and needed some of our live video backgfround...
so i quick asked megan to be sure dogs were in front of all the cameras and i slapped vests on moria and bentley and sat on the floor..
to set the scene-- it was kind of critical ... i am more than partly deaf--- i had a mic in one hand that sometimes works-- and a portable phone in the other which battery went and i had to have enother... and bentley could see no reason to lie there.
i didn't know which tech device i was supposed to react to. fortunately charlie covered-- and iot sounded like courtney in the background... the resulting video was not bad..
this guy ...pen ... a CNN man of th eyear " or something----reunites soldiers with dog ( and cats) they befriended while in Afghanistan -- a very complicated proceedure involving rabies shots & quarantine and no help from the va...-- he has reunited 700 dogs with soldiers--- some costing $4500 to transport-
and i started thinking.........
no way could i part with any of you who are keeping us going.... but this pen guy - he has the ear of "big rollers" and maybe he could "use" our production to run a wall with $1000 donations..
it would not change a thing for us-- except maybe putting thier blue numbers on the same table wiht our white ones...
if we can use our shltting "organization " to help him we should--- he too is doing a great job... including training 2 women to be veternarians in Afghanistan
so i am writing charlie this morning..
