Traci is packing up to leave -- the flight details say her flight is still booked for on time...-- i have trouble believing it when as of last night they could  not get the patriot football bunch back from wherever--so if they couldn't land them, they couldn't land anything.. and the planes need to be all reshuffled to try and cover..  

 so i suggested  she have a few fluffies for sleeping  and gave her cash to hopefully get her  thru the airport.  grace will take her to peabody for the shuttle..we will miss her-- she has been a great help- we like camera people for " working visitors" -- they come pre- trained to some degree.

now about the puppies in the netherlands-- we are definitely gettng 2 blacks.. a male and female--- she said the rest may be spoken for- she will know on thursday-- she sounds like an "organized" breeder-- typical european breeder... sell pups before they are born-  

HOWEVER--- since i heard that she will not know definitely which ones are sold until thursday-- i just mentioned we might be able to figure out how to get another pup or two over here... 

our most efficient daddy is getting related to every female here.....we are puppy poor-- between opal and mariah not becoming impregnated--- there is a terrible dent in my plans.. old mommy nature  rules again..

meanwhile   karen has contacted most of our recipients--- and all seems well with everyone.. life changing partners-- is what we strive for -- and it seems to be working.

so ----someone wants to write a book and someone else wants to do a documentary both are great ideas, but just now i think we have to keep our noses to the grindstone and figure out puppies/ bloodlines and ..... accreditation

this snow is no longer fun-- it was ... once... my inner parts can't take many more hours of bouncing back and forth lifting and dumping..  because we can not just  push it--- there is no more 'away'  to push it.   and the latest storm makes dumping it on top of piles impossibel becasuse the bucket only goes up 6 '

.luckily janine came by  last night with her 2 men ( colby  is a whopping  athletic 6'+++) and got us basically circled with the snow blower then tractor.    not alot has fallen since then-- and we don't have any more predicted til thursday !!!

now about ethyl--- latest theory??we think

 she may have been bitten by a spider???   very small lump on her face-- not eating ( except for bailey's small cans of food-) funny gurgle nasal at times.. ocassionally a brown/red nose drip.-- we had her there sunday they put her on antibiotic- assuming a misc infection-- and her face blew up  so a phone call to scott , and no antibiotic and loits of bennedrly  face is better but still not interested in mych food-- except ocassionally  bailey;s smalkl cans

i am not happy about her- and will probably go to the vets again today

Happy news!

As you know, Hester felt like she was being discriminated regarding her efforts to find an assisted living home for her and Abiah. I sent her one of the brochures Renee and Lynne created. I decided to check in to see how it was going (Lynne was willing to help and had me give Hester her number but hadn't been contacted). I am pleased to report that, after giving the brochure to one of the facilities, Hester said there was a tremendous turnaround and she has recently been called and told they have a room big enough for her and Abiah. "That brochure gave this little old lady the power I needed to back up what I had been saying all along" Hester. Wow, I cannot tell you how great it feels to have been able to help this sweet lady!
