WE HAVE A RULE AROUND HERE---- YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ONE AILMENT PER DAY--- AND DISCUSS ONLY ONE PILL-- OTHERWISE THE WHOLE PLACE TURNS INTO A LOPSIDED EMERGENCY ROOM FULL OF WOULD BE DOCTORS FULL OF FALSE INFO.
MY "TODAY'S AILMENT" IS ONE KNEE- VERY PAINFUL WITH A FUNNY LUMP--WHEN I RUBBED THE KNEE, I SHOVED THAT LUMP SOMEWHERE AND THE KNEE IS BETTER-- BUT I KNOW THAT LUMP IS HIDING SOMEWHERE AND IS CAPABLE OF TAKING ME DOWN---I MUST BE CAREFUL IT IS NOT IN A PILE OF PUPS...
HAVING BEEN MARRIED TO A DR FOR ALOT OF YEARS, I KNOW ALL ABOUT MEDICINE-- AND TH E "ALL" THAT I KNOW THAT BEST FIT IN THIS CASE ARE THE WORDS "JOINT MICE"
SINCE I DO NOT KNOW TH E PILL THAT WOULD CURE JOINT MICE, I RESERVE THE OPTION OF DISCUSSING A PILL AT LATER DATE.

Hi sorry i havent written in a while. Annie is doing great.. she is starting to be slow with her age 10... she still alerts me with sounds and people who come to the house.. she loves the kids... recently my vertigo has been bad and she is right there to let me hold her when we are outside... she watches the kids too... she loves to be with us... she has a few fatty lumps and skin tags but the vet doesnt seen concerned.. with her advanced age the vet doesnt want to put her under to remove the lumps.. she still runs like a cheetah and jumps up and down excited.. she looks great other wise.. i dont know what i will do without her.. a service dog is more that just what she does physically she makes me feel better emotionally too. She is my best friend we have been together 9 years now.. she gets clean warm from the dryer fluffies daily.. she is just a bit spoiled but she deserves it! .
Thank you soo much !
I love watching explorer and mail call. I dont get to watch often but i try when i can.

Good Morning Carlene, As I always do, I read the DD and was so thrilled to read Lauren's email. As you may remember, Boris was one of my favorites and I'm not at all surprised but so happy he's done so much for Lauren. It also made me realize how Willow had done the same for me. Until I got Willow I hadn't realized just how much I had stopped doing. For just the reasons that Lauren expressed. I had become fearful of falling. My falls had started to result in injuries and embarrassment. My "best" was taking out a display in Sephora. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about....After that, I really started to plan where I was going, how big the aisles were, what was the terrain like, how did I feel that day, etc. I also started shopping online, almost exclusively. The result was I had really withdrawn without knowing it. I Was actually walking less which was the worst possible thing, my other dogs were getting exercised much less and my return shipping costs were ridiculous. :) With Willow I now go EVERYWHERE! Which is particularly good as having my 91 year old father move in recently, I need too. I also am walking much better as I'm walking more. I've only fallen once since I've had her and that was when Jade and I were running she and Sam. Once I hit the ground, they both came running to get me up! Willow also recently navigated me through the Topsfield fair! Talk about a service dog challenge. People, kids, animals, noise, food...every kind of distraction you can imagine. She was a star!!! She was flawless. She even met something bigger than her. The Clydesdales. When Lauren described Boris as her Liberator, she really nailed it. That's exactly what my faithful partner is. I would be remiss however if I didn't also comment on the SDP community as well. From the moment I first drove in to SDP and was greeted by Earlene and Bailey I have been taken aback by the way it changed my feelings about my issues. At SDP falling was "the norm" and nobody thinks twice about it. Being welcomed and surrounded by people who just enjoy life and live to make life better is simply outstanding. My only regret is not getting there sooner. I should also mention that we also regularly visit Sephora again..... Happy Monday, Lynne and Willow
