I was quickly told by several people that they do have knives forks and spoons with a big handle on them to help people with Parkinson's and that sort of thing and I know that true and this fellow at the rehab center was carefully given those every day but that still didn't solve the problem and I kept thinking if he had a a plate with a lip on it where he could chase the peas land them on his fork or spoon he’d get a lot more nourishment, and furthermore he was almost irritated at his wife for offering to help him so I could see that the problem goes a lot further then dinnerware.
The whole concept of Facebook having a listing of things for sale is a new one to me but apparently it works very well because Janine put the Airstream on it and within two days we had six responses and it was sold-getting it out of where it was parked and down the driveway was a whole new ball game
but with some major adjustments we finally did wave goodbye as it went. that leaves us with a much smaller RV.. Which still would hold several people overnight... Many moons ago I had the leisure of being able to say to the camera people if you wanna come here all you have to do you get to Logan airport and then take the shuttle to Peabody and give us a call when you're on that shuttle and we would meet you and bring you here where you could spend several days playing part time farmer and I could guarantee you only some kind of roof over your head and either beds or couches or something and we had a lot of people did just that and it was fun. Ingrid from Florida organized a college reunion with three other people and they lived in the guesthouse for three or four days fortunately one of them was a cook. they and we had a good time,
It must be noted if you want gracious living you can stay at the very nice hotel down the street ferncroft ln danvers----but if you have an adventurous spirit you belong at our place .. I remember long ago in the very beginning a woman arrived at my front door with mop and bucket and asked if she could give us a hand I of course said of course. That hasn't changed. A perfectly good fresh air project would be to walk around and clear the path that goes around the A field. The forest has a way of moving in on you if you're not careful.... so going around that path with a set of Clippers needs to be done regularly.
A quick note we are to the end of the month
everyone I know has parents---and I will bet a good percentage of ended up in the situation of needing care... and in the process needing something to think about... which is which is where we come in there is no substitute for what animals can do.
