We had a real fun trip to hunt rehab nursing home yesterday Judy is hysterical talking to these people getting them all laughing and carrying on it really she does a good job and the dogs were good to unload I had four dogs and I went in out of my Walker to their outer office and had the dogs come in and sit down with me but the dogs knew where they were supposed to go so when Judy came in the door all four dogs just bolted for this room where all the people were sitting they're about probably 25 people at a in a circle and the dogs came barreling in it was it really was the probably the highlight of their day or month or whatever but it had everybody laughing and carrying on I came in and quickly threw down a handful of treats just to get them all in the middle again and uh we we worked the crowd with all the staff bringing in one patient after another who were in those rolling beds or whatever it was a good day and I didn't fall down again,
Robin sent me in an e-mail asking how you do 182 hey project and I thought it was really simple for everybody to do but it was not simple for me but I sounds like I have that wrong... and I better look into it big time because we are totally dependent on both the hay and the henny penny funds.. thankfully most of you seem to know how to do this but it should be a lot easier because it would be wonderful to get some new people helping.. heaven knows we are up to 5 daycares a week.. at least the last two weeks the only break has been one of them had bowed of COVID and cancelled us but we've been going full time and we don't have time to really work on these bunnies to see if we could get them a little more appreciative of the project although they seem to enjoy just hopping around the rooms but we'd we don't seem to find something they really consider a treat I mean we've been the lettuce and the carrots and stuff like that the stuff I have to try right now is the what are the dried dried pea shells or something um we gotta get we gotta get them a little more with the program. eating out of the frying pans would be ideal because it gets the focus gets them in position for photographs it that frying pan is just a good idea.
meanwhile here at the farm we're still trying to unload.. the various storage containers we're almost halfway down the shipping container engine did I can't say willingly but she did carry in my marble top and singer sewing machine treadle iron stand which I've always liked and it manages to hold up most of my ropes on the iron... which gets me closer to the iron stove which I'm told I may not have Wallace this weekend to do that but I'm certainly thinking about it it it it's gonna require there are a couple pieces that require heavy lifting most of it comes apart very easily but there's probably 2 at least pieces that are going to require a Wallace type.
I have no idea what I was watching on the Internet that got me to a collection of our mail calls and then also Wallace working two different horses.. my take from that is I must try and sit up straighter and stop breathing through my mouth---- might make the whole thing look a little better.
I finally do have a proper handheld shower handle which will keep the visiting nurses very happy and it really is very nice to use that shower was not specially engineered for me in a wheelchair and I hate to say it but water is inclined to run out of it so I have to figure out some dam besides a lump of pajamas
Our communication via calendars is not the greatest so although I know we have 5 jobs this week I have no idea where we're going but it really is no problem to lump all the dogs in the car and just plain go Things like a chicken or the bunnies ears require a little more hardware in preparation but the dogs are ready on a moment's notice
although we did a dangerous thing with the dogs I ran out of their purina pro plan and dog food and somebody had given me 50 lbs of a different kind and I just played switched... which hopefully will not cause any change in their bowel movements ===my usual feeding schedule Of feeding them breakfast before 8:00 and having them out running around till 9 usually takes care of that I don't want any surprises umm...
JANINE had a very funny story about trying to get 2 donkeys in the elevator and having one bolt out
OK and as she followed the one that ran out the door the doors closed and the elevator disappeared to a different floor and it was a very slow elevator and the donkey inside managed to have a significant bowel movement between floors which also picked up the cleaning lady somewhere along the line who was absolutely furious with jeanine who had she had all the preparation for cleaning up the mess of which she then did but the whole concept was very funny
