4 25. My Internet TV thing has taken to playing whatever it feels like playing and I thought I was watching ABC News when it changed itself to last night's mail call I never will understand how or why however I watched last night's mail call which was very interesting thing is being more than a little deaf. I couldn't understand a word we were saying,  but just looking at the picture you had two people namely Beth and myself both nationally known for training dogs one way or another..   And the other very similar thing is that Beth is now retired in her 60s. and taking care of her mother aged 95 who lives alone and cooks and cleans etcetera and there is Janine in her 60s I think or or damn close and taking care of me in my 80s and I actually did try and cook something yesterday= however back to the dogs= =--

Beth is a super trainer well known for two dogs that she developed ----the one that attracted my attention was her her Great Dane with whom she did agility and did it very well and the dog was white and deaf she did it all with hand signals and she had developed total communication with that dog who was 100% deaf the typical white deaf Dane  :”nico”. with hand signals alone she could direct the dog to a big jump or little jump.. And to go and fetch either the big ball or the little ball and although she had a great number of cues for the dog to be able to distinguish between a big ball and a little ball that blew my mind because I don't know how she did that... I have trouble teaching my dogs to retrieve anything however her other dog “heide” was spectacular in her variety ohh accomplishments most notably that one for racing down a boat dock and leaping into the air staying airborne longe r than most other dogs who tried to leap as far as she had... Heidi had a whole lot of other accomplishments that basically all circled around the fact that Beth and Heidi had developed a communication far superior to anything else I had ever seen.. it was bethe consistency and timing that made the whole thing possible ....she was good.  and now has one rescued Dane who lives with her mother.  and Beth plays golf---

Our other excitement to report of the day was we had a call from the animal control officer that there were four dogs loose on boxford Rd. Which turned out to be of course my three dogs and Arthur... Arthur being probably 700 lbs by now a mammoth donkey he's very pleasant and he's learned to come if we ring the bell expecting a  treat. he now is usually loose on the property and should remain casually contained if he behaves apparently the Workman who are now dealing with the roof on the Tanner barn left the gate open and Arthur went out taking three dogs with him and so we have to fix that.   I had the dogs loose with me and they were hanging around very nicely but I got sidetracked along about the time Arthur wandered out an open gate which having done that once he will do it again/
