our new henny penny $10 donation  board activity is giving all sorts of enthusiasm  to our crew..  Janine is all set to get another donkey or two in prep for the sept 29,30 pack burro race... which is not a race. But a wandering around essex county with a donkey ,,,should be wonderful fun   we have   ?8? “professional donkeys”  coming from Colorado to get everyone of ours going the right direction.... I do hope local people will start coming this weekend and get these donkeys started—good outdoor fun come on over – to 37 boxford rd--- pick up a donkey and see if you can get it once around the pond....  eventually the donks are wonderful at jogging along with you—but it take a lot of peppermint candies and oats to get to that stage... I would love a couple boy or girl scout troops to tAKE THIS ON... a donkey can go from totally wild to responsible pet in a day or two of “handlilng” ...

with regard to the auction,,, there is a way of watching it and janine will put those directions  somehwere on our web-- there was something about joining  for the day....and unjoiningn .

 

NOW FOR OUR NAME....   I think everyone has settled on the name----goldies farm ---as it certainly is that....  for new commers. GOLDY is the Ghost Of the Left hand Drawer----and last night was a perfect example of how goldie operates.... Janine called the company who pumps septic tanks--- now I do not know why, but she got talking to the person on the phone---and found out she was having to put her Belgain draft horse to sleep[ that very afternoon-ok---you heard Janine  is going to the  horse auction Saturday and Monday  in amish country where there are many belgain draft horses retired weekly – so with goldies help the woman at the septic tank place will have a new draft horse if any logical ones come thru the line.... that was soooo bizzarre it has to be a goldie thing.  Things like that happen frequently if we pay attention... like the night at mailcall when I said I wished I had 2 new fry pans  in purple for our assisted living dog feeding game---that very night I opened a box with 2 purple fry pans in it.

 

It happens--- often.... so I am hanging a little loose—waiting for goldie to make a suggestion about the move out..//over//and into I don’t see how we can accomplish that without a pod thing..( the horse trailer is in south Carolina)..
