last night’s  mail call needs explaining--- turns out elizabeth’s daughter works add an ice cream stand right around the corner from us and gets out of work at 5:00 o'clock at which time somebody has to pick her up and when they do they pick up a few dishes of the ice cream for everybody doing mail call so that's why the last couple mail calls all we've done is eat ice cream while we try and figure out what animal goes where in what trailer and who has had and who doesn't have hay and who has the hay elevator is even more important because it turns out crazy acres doesn't have much hay left so I have to go get some but the hay elevator is over at Meredith aside from being heavy it's long so I cannot carry it easily in the hay trailer without a car following me ----however Janine is running around with her  big trailer she could probably carry it in that if you can find somebody to help her put it in there life gets very complicated the darn thing is not light.   it was decided Judy and I just go get hay and let everybody else worry about the elevator/

while I'm at it let me give you a few ......BORING.....details on the fence project=== this horse fence that I use for the danes.... is 6 foot tall and it's not I repeat not the welded wire fence the welded wire doesn't last with horses or dogs you need the twisted  knotted. wire which is more expensive and heavier and seems to have red paint at the top strand and that may be the name of it red top fence.. I just went to try and find some and my usual sources which are tractor supply and farm tech neither one of them have 6 foot fence anymore so I don't know where you get it other than Idaho. for $343 per 100 feet----- the process oh putting up 6 foot fence along the puppy hill 4 foot fence,   and along the arena,   and to divide a field use the best part of 300 feet,, but instead of buying any.  it was taken down from the dog runs attached to the nut house.. so that really cannot be another  wreck it  and forget it deal. that cost of that fence ....three rolls and about 10 ----8 foot T posts per role.. at $12.99 each.. I no longer think our  local tractor supply. is going to be able to supply that..  last I knew they had only four and five foot and blame China for the lack of the six foot..   so with freight charges, I am out about $1500 for what happened in trying to solve the fact that the four foot fence no longer held adult Danes...

so last week. it was $900 to repair a fountain which better get done soon because the green slime is collecting and we don't have bud to fix it so that probably has gone to more like a whole new fountain and not just a new motor which would be about $1800//  and the $203 battery for the generator which I then have to get  2 more.   so right there 609 plus 1800 plus there's fence for 1500. crazy acres has lost at least $3900.  in  just incidentals in about 10 days,,,  I need to have service dog project pick up the tab for these bills...  keeping in mind that this month  ERN.  and I spend a lot of money on cleaning up the arena supposedly to be used for training for both horses and dogs and that did not work out because the dogs want exclusivity so they continue to use it as a litter box which will need “fixing”   again in about 8 months.and that does not address the project of the dead washer in the laundry building.... needing removal and then. That big word ...TRASHED--  I have always just paid these things—\
