i can not imagine... and i don't think enough of us do.... i see pictures of bombed out houses in wherever
they happen to be dropping bombs at the moment... ands i wonder how in the rubble of all that bricks and
mortar, that the plumbing would still deliver a nice cool refreshing glass of water... that we so casually
expect from our system. and more than that.. how about all those people we decided were essential ..
like the guy driving the truck from the farm to the store with the lettuce... or the guy putting it all on the shelves...
i nearly had this. vision a month or two ago in market basket-- there were no frozen peas...
.good ole US of A... I HAD NEVER HAD THAT EXPERIENCE BEFORE. spoiled that i was..........NO PEAS????
There you have people wondering how to get the very basic water and roof...
where do you start amid all that rubble to get what you know you ... and your child are going to need in the next 4 hours ---a simple drink of water.??
it is not "well i will try again tomorrow"- ok..right now... no more water from the system. for 2 days.
have at it... use up the keruig will be the first shock...go ahead and flush once... now what do you do?
? ask your neighbor? right... and why should they part with a cup full?
that is too drastic to comprehend... so let me bring up a couple---
detroit... did i hear we still have not solved that mess of lead pipes?
Arabians were shipping hay from california to thier prize horses because they did not have enough water to grow their own..
... and california decided they did not wish to continue that because the wine country needed it...
the colorado river never gets to the ocean before it goes thru someone's gut....? really? i dunno but i would not doubt it
what are the plans to drain some of the great lakes,.. and what does canada think about that?
i don't even want to think about sabotage and vulnerability of cities like new york??? or the computer system that runs it...
i can --once in my life---remember saying "why would any company spend money on gas to transport water around?"
obviously before poland springs.
