we--- (steve meg and me)--- all passed the "dog from norway" and gave him the official service dog certification.. nice dog-- people weren't bad either- so linda did up our certification badge and a letter to go with it.. they should have no problem.
one asset of SDP is linda's ability to write letters that sound so official- i can easily get impressed with my signature-- linda makes us look goooood --
since we didn't charge for teh inspection, i really tried to put it on them... this is a community which is supported with chicken bricks-- so i expected to see more chicken sales in both conn and norway. they have family in both places,,,, i do think they got the picture... because of the generousity of all of you "camera people" it is wonderful not to have to drain every penny at every opportunity from people who have our dogs, and who's handicapp is already causing them to have exopenses beyond the norm...
i wish i could remember thier names-- but that isn't gonna happen... what i do remember is the conversations abotu how in norway the whole service dog "industry" is state run and tehre are only labs- paid for by everyone's taxes. i have been trained to wince aT THE TERM "STATE RUN"-- I SUPPOSE THAT ALL DEPENDS ON TEH ETHICS OF THE PEOPLE IN THAT "STATE" .. I KNOW THAT ANNE ( FROM DENMARK) SEEMS VERY PLEASED WITH THE BENEFITS OF TEH DENMARK "STATE" . SHE HAS TEH ATTITUDE THAT THINGS ARE "REGULATED" FOR THE BENEFIT OF EVERYBODY.... THAT SOUNDS BOTH WONDERFUL AND IMPOSSIBLE....SHE DOES NOT SEEM TO MIND PAYING TAXES BECAUSE SHE SEES WHAT SHE IS GETTING FOR THOSE TAXES.... HOW ODD IS THAT???

I AM ASSUMING.... THAT ALL THIS STUFF I TAKE TO THE DUMP... AKA TRANSFERR STATION-- GOES OUT THAT DRIVEWAY IN A VERY BIG TRUCK, AND TURNS NORTH ON RT 95 -- AND ENDS UP" regulated" IN MAINE-- WHERE I HOPE THERE ARE REGULATIONS TO KEEP IT FROM BEING DUMPED STRAIGHT IN THE OCEAN. MINUS THOSE REGULATIONS , THE PURSUIT OF THE ALMIGHTY BUCK- THOSE TRUCKS WOULD FIND A PLACE TO UNLOAD THAT XXXXX INTO AN OBSCURE SPOT AND RETURN QUICKLY FOR ANOTHER LOAD.... HOPEFULLY THAT OBSCURE SPOT IS NOT CLOSE TO POLAND SPRINGS WHICH PROVIDES BOTTLED DRINKING WATER FOR 3/4 OF NEW ENGLAND.

A MOVE TO CLEAN UP THE HUDSON PUT A STOP TO THAT-- SO WHEN IS A MOVE, REALLY A REGULATON? I AM TOLD THE HUDSON RIVER IS "ALMOST " DRINKABLE IN POUGHKEEPSIE JUST up stream from NEWBURGH...
PERSONALLY... I APPROVE OF REGULATIONS TO STRUGGLE TO MAKE THE HUDSON DRINKABLE IN MANHATTAN -- BECAUSE THOSE BIG AQUIDUCTS CARRYING DRINIKING WATER 100 MILES TO NEW YORK CITY ARE GETTING OLD.. AND THE IMAGE OF KIDS SWIMMING IN A RIVER IN INDIA WHERE THE ENTIRE SURFACE IS COVERED WITH TRASH - IS A REALITY... FOR INDIA...
