never in my life have i thought three were so many and interesting cures for a very disruptive "hot toe"--i didn't count but my email re cures were in th edozens... and sooo interesting-- PLEASE don't send me all those products, i would n't have room for them at mail call-- most were assumong it was gout---- probably because of my interest in thngs like cheesecake with whipped cream... but this is not gout.. doctors know about gout... and i have shown it to a variety of doctors from gp's to internests , caridologists, gynocologist, and even a dentist.- all of which say "it looks normal to me" -- leaving me to try some of the cures offered by our community of daily doggeers...
today i will go and get some sunsweet dried cherries-- several people mentioned those-- and furthermoer a couple told of a high powered cherry juice actually a few yeas ago someone sent me a bottle of that as a cure for a skin itch. so it must be good....--i did drink it - or consume it somehow-- like over ice cream...-- i still itch-- but logically i was not testing a hot toe problem at that time because i did not have a hot toe. it woudl be unscientific of me to ignore the possible cure.. who's to say if it did not cure the itch that it wouold not cure the toe.......besides i like cherries.
plus..... this might be a goldie tip.... somewhere in the past week, in ordering some generic medical supplies i noticed that liquid cheery juice picture somewhere-- i dunno where.... but if goldie puts it on my screen again , i will order some... I WILL GO GET SOME SUNSWEET DRIED CHERRIES....if they are anything linke sunsweet dried prunes i could have other problems. PLEASE-- DON'T ALL OF YOU START SEND ING ME BOTTLES... I REMEMBER I HAD TROUBLE GETTING THRU THE LAST BOTTLE BECAUSE IT LACKED HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP !!

i remember.. here we go again... the most packages i ever got in one day was 59-- i have a picture somewhere of my golf cart overloaded... it was because i mentioned on mail call my fascinatioon with bird houses ( bird hice?) the the number and variety i got was astounding because the 59 was just one day.. and there were other days with a few m ore...-- i have a few that were so fancy they never made it out into the weather- but the place is loaded with very interesting bird hice.

it was almost as amazing as the pink enveloope campaign we did for the kid getting bullied in school-- for you new commers...-- way back..tehre was a kid who had a problem with her service dog in school... so we-- sdp-- made an appt to go see the principal to try and get some help for the situation. we had an appointment.. and sat in her outer office at 9:00-- she came out and waved her arm t us "i don't have any tie for you" - causing me to realize we needed help -- so i came home and got online with the thousands of people who watch us and comment daily-- and asked them to pass th word around and go buy 2 pink envelopes and send pne to the superiintenden of schools and the other to the principal-- and mail them on tuesday.... there were 2 very significant results------ someosn at the post office told me they must have had 10,000 pink envelopes... and the principal said " i had no idea"-- well she does now.

the principal who had to deal with bella and george was alot more reasonable... she was just paniced... and i can't blame her... here we were saying this 48 pound little kid wouold have control over this 131 pound dog...-- it has been a long road to convince the world in general that a well trained service dog is a whole different ball of wax compared to the generic house pet..

which brings me to - the legal issues of how to tell who is faking it?.. i wish they would all stop trying to define who IS a service dog because there is often absolutely no problem in telling who is NOT a service dog... any dog that is NOT perfectly behaved and 24 inches from it's owner on all 4 of it's own feet, is not a service dog....i could go even further and cure the airline problem by saying "remove all harness and collars from service animale and call them to walk the the scanner alone." this is one of the ADI tests to certify public access... " in public drop leash and call the dog to be under control"-- this would be absolutely no problme for any dog certified by us... at least when we certified them... sometime owners get lax... but they passed that test when we donated them.!! that would eliminate 99.4% of the issues.
if only they asked me..... :)
