the abc news was nicely done... they did cut it in half by 30 seconds.... whenever you get involved with news, the entire coverage is shaped around who got shot the night before... and with a plane down and 5 people stabbed, they cut the bella story. he did look good tho.... ( and so did bella... but i am the dog rep)
Thanks again, Carlene! Tonight's story was a big hit with our viewers. I am truly sorry we had to cut out :30 including the part where we mentioned Service Dog Project. But, we are serious about doing an update on Bella and George's story in December and look forward to sharing much more about the great work you do them.
As promised, here is a link to the story. Please feel free to post/ share as you wish.

somewhere there exists the longer version - a few people have seen it maybe at 11pm??

moving onward and upward.....

i am about 4 weeks behind in my responsibilities to explore-- who asked for a "different " blog weekly-- i need more "different photo's about which i can make some humorous comment and /or educate the bloggers about something animal wise.. if i must say so myself.... i have put out some good ones... on explore.org ... on their blog.. like the photo of the donkey in the office with neal... great picture...
i need more wierd pictures... i will go thru some of camera marks on shutterfly as i get my 2nd cuppa....
*********
i also need to change the wish list-- we have enough waterless shampoo for the next 6 litters.... thaat is not bad thing-- we will eventually use it- i need to go out there and find the stainless steel/ german made training collars we use... for a while we had plenty....but we have been giving them to recipients with their dogs- so last time bentley had to be my service dog in a supermarket, i did not have any collar at all.... or even rope... except for about 25 feet of bright yellow clothesline-- which i tried to wind up and hold in my hand - but it ws not very professional looking.
it was very embarassing to have someone recognise me, call me by name, ask about service dog project, then ask if maybe we need help buying a collar for my dog... it was prettty funny...
granted i could go to a pet store and get a collar... but i am extreemely neurotic about having pups and wandering into a pet store -- they might have germs there... and some of our pups are too young for the first vacinnation.....

i am goin g to try and "go to the fairgrounds" with a dog or two.. i should get in that routine.... maybe audry and bently and chaos-- shold be fine... hopefully bently nd chaos will get the message to audry... the field at the fairgrounds is not fenced in... and route 1- maine to florida- is right there...-
granted if i kept the dogs in crate, they would be perfectly safe... but i choose not to do that... and go for the happy life and pray we stay out of trouble...

winter is coming... flys come indoors--- i now have a pet fly tht lives on my monoter screen and seems to chase the curser around when it is not trying to get in my nose. it only lands on the screen and i am a little hesitant to whack the screen..

how bad is my memory??? i have to consult the daily doggie later in the day to see what i was supposed to do.
then explain to everyone at 5pm mailcall why i didn't get it done...
and i have been requestd to have funny story time at the end of mailcall...
now that i am older, i have alot of comment s about what i went thru as a teenager- as my mother tried to force many an issue -- like playing a musical instrument... piano or clarinet...at this advanced age i know i have zero ability to go from eye to hand movement-- so reading and trying to play music was just not in the cards.... i ended up in the band as second clarinet between 2 guys- both of them were quite accomplished at clarinet playing.. so when th eguy int the first chair ws absent, if there was a clarinet solo-- the solo privlidge skipped right over me as hopeless... i never should have been there in the first place.. there are things i know now... all those hours trying to practice the piano and clarinet were a total waste-- and so frustrating to anyone listening to me fracture the music...
