it is not slowing by much--- overnight it still  increased by 2 million   which is   2536 per minute  ..really   ... if they would each send $1---- oh can i dream....

we have alot of people asking to volunteer   everybody wants to learn to train service dogs....so i have copied 2 generic responses.....  a combination of which has  become my response...

sounds like you might  fit in....george and bella are wonderful true... but from a sdp prospective 
i know how much poo we picked up  to get him to this stage-- and how much laundry we folded
so tho it sounds glamerous... it  aint....  there are some very pleasent moments... but the bulk is hard work.

we are at the point of  asking that volunteers committ to at least 12 hours a week.
otherwise we end up with a bunch of spectators that we trip over...

 in the  meantime..... i have asked or am asking ---- some  of our retired school teachers  ( karen  nh teach  ---debbie --meatchipper steve's wife... who doesn't know it  yet- til she reads this..)  to get themselves organized-- to get teachers to mention how kids can earn community service hours...
to get  these computer savvy kids who live far away and need community service hours to go  to a senior residecne program ( or such) and set them up watching the explore cameras in general------and  sdp   in particular.  if they then send me their progress report, i will give them an hour for each computer they get  in operation for these people.  and i can participate with a welcome message if necessary at 5:00 mail call...
if we can get that going--it could be huge--- and explore thought it was a great idea...
take any organized group-- especially one with an adult to monitor-- like  scouts--- 
it would be using an assett-- these kids knowledge of computers.....to benefit seniors...
SO ANYONE READING THIS---- LETS TRY AND GET THE PROGRAM GOING--  I GET MORE THAN A FEW LETTERS TELLING ME HOW MUCH SOME ISOLATED PERSON... OR SENIRO RESIDENCE PROGRAM    ENJOYS  WATCHING THE PUPS AND PARTICIPATING IN THE EXPLORE "COMMUNITY" ...   SO LETS MAKE AN EFFORT TO HELP--- 
I WOULD LOVE TO BE OVERWHELMED  WITH REQUESTS TO READ LETTERS......

BAILEY REPORT--
 HER TAIL IS A MESS--STILL OOOOZING RED BLOOD AND SERIOUS FLUID... BUT LOOKS SLIGHTLY BETTER-- WE HAVE NOT TAKEN HER TEMP AS IT WOULD BE A PURELY ACEDEMIC PROCEEDURE.... AND THAT WHOLE AREA IS SO INFLAMED,  IS HARD TO LOCATE THE LANDMARKS.. BELIEVE IT OR NOT....  IT IS BEING WARM SOAKED- CONSTANTLY.. AND SHE  DID GET OUT TO PEE TWICE YESTERDaY-- SHE IS EXTREMELY STIFF AFTER LYING IN ONE POSITION FOR SO LONG...BUT SHE CAN WALK  WITH DIFFICULTY.
SHE DOES NOT TAKE PILLS WILLINGLY-- EVEN WRAPPED IN BUTTER- WHICH IS NOT ONLY THE TASTE, BUT THE SLIDE FACTOR.  THIS WILL BE DAY 2 OF THE MEDS- ANTIBIOTIC- PER GEORGE..

could be  more purina  food arrives today-- we can pray they will come up the driveway-- otherwise it is a long haul with truck and tractor... i am by no means complaining-- i have take the required  anti  meds and am ready ( besides tractor driving is not a problem..  power steering ..heat.. a/c  -- can't complain  on that either)
just have to organize the parking so we can turn the traiiler if they do come in...
