hard to come up with a topic  i dare write about---however....

how can i get in trouble discussing age as related to the fires in canada?

on my last hay trip i was having trouble reading the signs way far ahead-- which i usually can do.

so.... i began to think...... maybe it was an age thing. and i should consider reducing my highway time.

my family have suggested if i  hit 3 things in one day that  i should quit driving.....well that only led to N ARGUEMENT

if my car started sliding down the hill  on the ice. and i hit the house then the tree is that one accideent or two? 

that tree is in tough shape... it is like the bermuda triangle.. the pitch of the hot top varies ever so slightly   cars, golf carts  and tractors have slid sideways into that tree.. and once there, the  only way is to need to drive uphill to get past the tree.. which is usually impossiblewithout a "come along " winch----  people slide  and fall in that area also....

 so back to my  trying to read signs---last night at 5pm mail call  apparently elizabeth and i both had the same  strange  feeling in our eyes... which we decided was the fires in canada and not my advancing age.... 

it is sooooo easy , and expected to have age related changes....but one must not blame everything on age.especially when you are being told "you are too old to do xxxxx you belong in a nursing home."--- it  is very demoralizing.... especially when i go to a "senior care facility" and find out there is only one person in the group of 30 people who is older than i am !!
