courage brother---no--- sister too

todays poetry-- someone sent last night's mail call... and i already knew it 

so now from memory......

IT IS NOT MY PLACE TO RUN THE TRAIN

THE WHISTLE  I CAN'T BLOW

IT IS NOT MY PLACE TO SAY HOW FAR

THE TRAIN IS ALLOWED TO GO

IT IS NOT MY PLACE TO  BLOW OFF STEAM

OR EVEN RING THE BELL

BUT LET THE DAMN THING JUMP THE TRACK 

AND SEE WHO CATCHES HELL.

 i find that hysterical---   CREATIVE BLAMING?

So  how to write a DD with so many forbidden topics?

sitting alone at 2am i thought maybe a discussion of why man hole covers are round

might not offend anyone...if they were square, they could be placed wrong--- the sides being shorter than the diagional- you could drop it thru the hole and then need to get it out again..

being a circle. there is no wrong way... just 360 right ways...so someone long ago figured out a way to eliminate the possibility of having a worker- probably under pressure to earn a living- not thinking  clearly- drop a manhole cover down into  the hole.  this defines the responsibility  of superviser... or leader...   to be aware of errors that could be prevented with basic scientific discovery--- like water flows downhill.   

  water does seek it's own level.
