 june 8 2023

a camera person sent me this one

WHOMEVER HOLDS THE CELLPHONE, HAS A LOUDER VOICE.-- boy ain't that true !!  when that reeeeeaaaaalllyyyy annoys me is when it is scientifically incorrect-- and people believe it rather than check the details. Public opinion can be shaped so quickly by a few words- especially if somehow knocks someone or something to someone's financial benefit..

ok.... here's a favorite of mine..... dog food is a religion to some people-- in trying to do the best for their pets, they are prime candidates for the promotions of the peculiar--- with great pride someone will tell me their dane is alergic to chicken but does not have allergies because they now feed raw seagull meat and seaweed... i have to allow, in my research, the fact that .. there is a possibility that they are correct..... that is where possibility and probability come into play.  to make that statement, one should really feed the seaweed til no allergiy is present.. then for a couple days add a few chunks of boiled chicken to the seaweed-- at which time the allergy should show. a couple flips like that and i would believe it-- but in the real world,,, both my husband (MD) and TV's Dr.Pol (DVMD) said a great percentage of medical problems are cured by time alone.

i have not done the CHUNKS OF CHICKEN test yet-- for lack of organizational skills - and an alergic dog--- but i certainly would love to. hear from someone who has carefully done that.-- then i will only have to deal with. there are some people who will make up stuff just to be able to sound correct for once.. that's a whole new ballgame...

SSOO---- a scientific sample of one--- is a marketers dream... and the lifeblood of the internet.

there is a value in information that is proven correct-- but that AIN'T AS MUCH FUN !!!

there is value in just the email lists on the internet and i swear some of these schemes have only that in mind. With constant contact mailing the DD i try very hard to protect our list of readers.. and i am happy to report. in the past month we have 43 new people signing up-- and only 9 unsubscribing... i like that-- altho sometimes the DD is not what you might call enlightening- or even worthwhile reading-

can't win 'em all

p..s. driving for hay yesterday i had just about decided i shoul d give up driving on the highway because my eyes were not "working right". then elizabeth at mail call complained about eyesight due to the polution bit--- could be--- so much for my sample of one

got to rethink that one.
