now with a computer you can say 2+4 AND GET A TOTAL=6 .... THE COMPIUTER CAN "DECIDE" IF TEH TOTAL IS =6...... NOW WHEN YOU GO TO ADD ANOTHER 2 IT WILL THINK "IF THE TOTAL IS ALRADY 6, THEN DO NOT ADD ANY MORE, INSTEAD GO DO SOMETHING- LIKE PRINT ALL THE WORDS TO THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER 14 TIMES... IN GREEK.
COUPLE THAT WITH AN IMPOSSIBLY ACCURATE MEMORY, IT CAN CONTINUE TO THINK ALL TOTALS EQUAL 6 UNLESS YOU CAN FIGURE OUT WHERE IT DECIDED THE FIRST TOTAL EQUALED 6 AND GET RID OF THAT, YOU ARE GOING TO WASTE ALOT OF PAPER PRINTING GREEK
IT SORTS BETTER THAN MOST ANYTHING ELSE--- IF YOU HAVE LINES OF PRINT LABELED 3 5 1 8 AND 12 AND ASK IT TO SORT THEM YOU WILL GET 1 3 5 8 12 UNLESSSSSSSSS
IF THE COMPUTER THINKS THOSE ARE LETTERS AND NOT NUMBERS YOU WILL GET 1 12 3 5 8
UNDER SOME SITUATIONS A COMPUTER CAN DECIDE TO SORT....
JANUARY,OCTOBER, NOVEMBER DECEMBER FEBURARY MARCH ETC... WHICH IS VERY LOGICAL WHEN YOU THINK 1 10 11 12 2 3 4 ETC
SOMEWHERE,,, SOMEONE TOLD THE COMPUTER THOSE NUMBERS WERE ACTUALLY TO BE TREATED LIKE LETTERS.
THE POSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.. IT ONLY DOES WHAT THE PROGRAM TELLS IT TO DO..
