JUNE 6 2018
problem of alot of thanksgivien relatives solved....  20   i think....TUESDAY THRU SUNDAY... nice place in merimac mass which has fairly new travel trailers..plan is to line up 5 of them in front of teh  g tent-- a lively bunch.. should be fun..it's said they sleep 8  but i figure 4 per should work...along with my  relatives we  still have to feed  be all teh people who help run this place on a daily basis--- so that ads another 12 or so..
other object being to figure out how to feed everyone without having anyone get stuck cooking-- and where to feed them....   especiLLY IF IT IS SNOWING--- WHICH IT IS CAPABLE OF DOING  T'DAY.. SO THERE IS SOME PLANNING-
WE/THEY NEED AN INDOOR PROJECT TO KEEP THE GROUP CASUALLY COHESIVE...  ONE YEAR THERE WAS A PUZZLE BEING DONE.     WE HAVE LOADS OF INDOOR UNHEATED PLACE TO DO THINGS... AND IT SHOULD NOT BE BITTER COLD????
**** SERVICE DOGS....
HERE IS A TYPICAL GO-ROUND....
**
Hello. I will be attending a tour June 24th with Bark n Roll where i work. A coworker Felisha set it up I think. I was wondering if it is oK I bring my service dog with me. He is a fully trained medical alert dog. Look forward to hearing from you.
Ps: I always watch the live feed on YouTube when I’m bored:)

***SO I ANSWERED...
IF HE IS FULLY TRAINED BY AN ACCREDITED FACILITY, OF COURSE YOU CAN-- AND I ASSUME NEUTERED AND SPAYED  BECAUSE I HAVE BREEDING DOGS HERE SO IT COULD GET COMPLICATED...PLEASE  HAVE SOMEONE COME NOTIFY ME BEFORE YOU TAKE HIIM/HER  OUT OF THE CAR SO WE ARE SURE TO COLLECT OURS.

AND I GOT BACK

So if he is owner trained I can’t bring him? And he is neutered yes.

-- i have certified owner trained dogs----IT CERTAINLY IS POSSIBLE TO DO THAT...  HOWEVER.....
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY STAtements i get like yours from people who think they haVE A PROPERLY TRAINED DOG-- AND THEY ARE NOT.-- SO I HAve to assume if it has not been certified by someone who knows the public access test- tHen it probaBLY IS NOT.
AND IF HE IS NOT... WHY NOT?

IF YOU ARE A VETERAN/ FIRST RESPONDER OR TEH LIKE- AND WOULD LIKE ME TO TEST HIM, I AM HAPPY TO DO THAT,  FOR FREE...  BUT I HAVE TO WARN YOU  ALL 3 OF US HAVE TO AGREEE IT IS A PROPERLY TRAINED DOG THAT CAN PASS TEH  ADI PUBLIC ACCESS TEST PERFECTLY.

I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY OF THE ADI TEST...  I THINK SOMEWHERE IT SAYS THE DOG MUST PASS 80%-- BUT WHEN I AM CERTIFYING A DOG WE HAVE NOT TRAINED, WE  MUST HAVE 100%.

SO UNLESS YOU HAVE PROOF OF HIS TRAINING, I SUGGEST YOU NOT BRING HIM...

DOCTORS !
"BUT MY DOCTOR SAYS HE IS A SERVICE DOG...."  THERE IN LIES TEH  PROBLEM -  THE GENERAL PUBLIC HAS TEH RIGHT TO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH A SERVICE DOG THAT IS ALLOWED ACCESS-- THEY MUST BEHAVE PERFECTLY- MOST OF TEH DOCTORS I HAVE KNOWN  DON'T HAve a clue what a well trained dog is--- or even worse-- how they got that way...
this "doctor's letter"  creates a bad situation where i have to end up saying- for whatever reason....   " we can't supply you with a dog"  there are alot of people who figure it is like a perscription to be filled... and they get mad at me....
****
there is a subtle problem here.... a medical alert dog can very often be just plaqin old dog with no training which  happens to alert a situation....- thaT COUlD BE... BUT THAt does not address the behavior of teh dog in public-- that could be a dog  running around telling you  you are about th have low blood sugar problem-- while eating food off the table in a reataurant....  what ever that dog does for you, you have not done your part to protect the public..

and if anyone tells you  FOR $15,000 they can traIN A DOG TO ALLERT TO A SEIZURE ETC... ASK THEM HOW DO THEY PRACTICE?  MOST DOGS WILL PICK IT UP ON THEIR OWN AND YOU JUST HAVE TO RECOGNISE THE SIGNS....
unhaPPY AS I CAN GET WITH ADI...  THEY TRY AND ADDRESS THE FAct that a service dog  must be perfectly trained FO R PUBLIC ACCESS.
the biggest problem with   owner trained is tehy get into "he only does that occasionally"   or   "he is so cute when he barks like that"

i do think adi accredited places should do more to certify what a trained dog is...
