- to have a cell phone you need tremendous background information- it may be beyond me--- period..
i just got a jiterbug.. and loved how it buzzed me to let me know i had hit a letter. as i carelfully entered my phone list- and even texted twice.. once was successful... BUT 50% FOR ME IS NOT BAD...
then i went to bed/asleep... and so did it... neither donna or i could turn it on in the morning... we had to wait for pam wh e came and said "i knew that little hole was there and you need to poke in a paperclip to reboost it" I HATE TO THINK OF ALL THE THINGS I WOULD HAVE TRIED BEFORE I GOT TO A PAPERCLIP IN THAT HOLE-- A HAMMER WOULD HAVE PREFACED TEH PAPER CLIP.

with 80 years of various ills gwen thought i'd be a good subject...
i did tthe computer stuff yesterday and very soon got a call to make an apt for the " measuring/and sample stage- i must be one of the first... because----they said they were having aptw only on wed and friday 9 to 12 and they just happened to have 9:30 available today..
it involves access to my electronic med record- which i have no problem with... except that the electrocution accident with that Kone elevator is listed in my records as a dog bite- i am sure it got that way because in the busy emergency room- the secretary went for a medicare code she could find quickly .
so there is a small factor in me that says... take the video with you --- because an 80 year old lady with a big dog and a pocket full of poker chips might not fit the norm.... they might assume the record correct and 80 year old just nuts. maybe the video will help... but then ... maybe not.
i am loading up a donkey feedbag with necessities--- not sure which dog i will take-- that will depend on which one moves their bowels promptly after breakfast. this assembly mall where i will be going is within a block of where linda lives--aside from new on ramps and off ramps i shoudl have no trouble finding it... i used to deliver magazines there...

tht magazine business really financed alot around here-- eventually i made 4 cents a copy for all sold in teh 16 routes in the northern 1/2 for doing the computer programming and distribution management. but i started out delivering and that made 4 cents a copy for those i sold on my route. if a avg store sold 10 books, that made me 40 cents- and teh most stores i covered in one day was 57-- that was good money 50 years ago.. in my yellow vw bug with teh rolls royce nose..

while in commuter traffic wiht gwen the other day, i commented i had never had to "commute" -- first job out of college satelite traciking in cambridge so i got an apt near it and rode my bike...---- $98 a week- because i was a math major... my roomate made 1/2 that as an english major.- same college degree... tehn still living in cambridge i worked on 128- so that meant i was against commuter traffic- after that it was magazines on tuesday and animals all over the place.. so no commuting experience...
you can see why i like mike rowe's line of logic... i worked for teh magazine for 19 years before they knew i had a college degree...
i can remember my faTHER COMPLAINING Abotu colby's $300 per semester tuition-- and cigatettes were 18 cents per- pack -- or 20 cents in a machine which gave you back 2 pennies undeer the celophane wrapper...( there was no cancer warning then...)

TODAY I GOT TO SIGN ON AS CO-COUNSEL FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER AND CONDUCT MY FIRST HEARING! ASHER AND I WERE IN FRONT OF THE HEARING OFFICER TODAY (THE "JUDGE" OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING) DOING THE OPENING AND CLOSING STATEMENTS AND EXAMINING OF THE WITNESSES AND AS USUAL, ASHER MADE FAST FRIENDS. HE MADE IT ONTO THE RECORD SEVERAL TIMES WHEN THE HEARING OFFICER REFERRED TO MY "ASSISTANT" AS "MR. ASHER," AND I IMAGINE THERE'S GOING TO BE SOME CONFUSED PEOPLE OVER AT CORPORATE OF THE OPPOSING PARTY WHEN THEY SEE THAT THE LEGAL INTERN APPARENTLY BROUGHT ALONG HER OWN SUPPORT STAFF. I DON'T THINK THEY'LL GUESS THAT HE'S A GREAT DANE! IT WAS A WONDERFUL FIRST EXPERIENCE, GOT SOME GREAT FEEDBACK FROM MY SUPERVISOR, AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE WILL BE MANY MORE OF THOSE IN OUR FUTURE!
ASHER ALWAYS ATTRACTS SO MUCH ATTENTION WHEREVER WE GO THESE DAYS, WHETHER WE'RE AT A SCHOOL FOR AN IEP MEETING, A STATE OFFICE, OR THE COURTHOUSE, AND HE'S ALWAYS COMPLIMENTED ON HIS BEHAVIOR. IT DOESN'T HURT EITHER THAT HE OFTEN SOFTENS THE STIFF ATMOSPHERE IN THE ROOM AND BRINGS OUT THE DOG PERSON IN WHOEVER WE'RE IN FRONT OF EVERY DAY - THE HEARING OFFICER TODAY BECAME A LOT LESS INTIMIDATING AS WE SAT AROUND CHATTING ABOUT DOGS BEFORE WE BEGAN. I COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER PARTNER TO GO THROUGH THESE MANY FIRST EXPERIENCES WITH!

WELL IF YOU THOUGHT YESTERDAY WAS A GOOD UPDATE TODAY IS EVEN BETTER! 3 DAYS IN A ROW FIRST OFF AND .........
