sir richard is settling in well-- they have stopped the "my mouth is bigger than your mouth"  or bitey FACE GAME.. I TRY VERY HARD NOT TO MAKE POLITICAL STATEMENTS  HOWEVER THAT COULD CERTAINLY BE APPLIED TO  MANY INTERPERSONAL RELAATIONSHIPS FROM KINDERGARDEN ON UP... our team of bud . judy, and me- are getting pretty good at this bit of getting dogs thru  teh airport.  penny and paula arrived on memorial day  i.e.  when teh customs office in boston was closed... so we had to use the custom "office" at terminal E-- which was on the way to the boston customs off ice-- it hit judy and i at the same time.... maybe ... just maybe we could get the term E office to stamp the thing and save teh round trip thru the tunnell to boston's waterfront customs..we had to pass it to get to boston.... worth a shot.... judy is sooooo pleasent.. it worked... but she came back with comments like "we are supposed to encourage you to go to boston's customs office"----   "who told you to come here?" ( this is where i came last time) -- this saved about an hour of sir richard being in the crate... nd was he hungry - he demolished teh container of wet food-  his crate was clean as he managed to  move his bowels in his water dish !! very talented -- he had 2 water dishes so he was not thirsty until 1/2 way home.  OTHER THAN THAT... HE SLEPT. route 1  north seemed terribly jammed up  as we went south to the airport---- so to get hmoe ( north)  we opted to drive faster over a longer route thru lynn.  past sunday sandy's house, mora's house  colleen's grooming place..  TEH SCENIC ROUTE- 835 PEOPLE WERE AWAITING HIS ARRIVAL WHEN WE GOT HOME...  HE WAS RESTED AND READY TO ESTABLISH HIMSELF AS AN INDEP[ENDNT CONTRACTOR-- ALL BE IT.. A HUNGRY ONE..  MAYBE  IT WAS TEH 24 HOURS IN TRANSIT, BUT HE WAS FAMISHED-- AND STILL HAS A VERY STRONG FOOD DRIVE-- HE IS IN GREAT SHAPE SO HE HAs not gone hungry often... we are struggling with teh  spoon feeding bit with the 4 of them  "wait" is not in their language yet. moving on.... *** SO AS FOR THE  AIR TIME GIVEN DIFFERENT PHILOSOPHIES.. WHY DO  YOU ALL ACCEPT A SPELLING BEEgiven great panache on tv t AND NOT GIVE EQUAL TIME TO  math--- especially ALL THOSE AMAZING KIDS WHO CAN DO MATH FASTER THAN A COMPUTER--  YOU KNOW ... I THINK MOST ARE JAPANESE WHO'S BASIS IS THE Abacus--  back to my old get 'em young train  'em early...   how many of you had a woman (usually a teacher) who said "i can't do math"   or " i always hated math  "   i certainly did-- fortunately i was not famous for listening to teachers.  i do make a point of stopping any woman from saaying that around young kids...  i try and erase teh impression by saying " if you are good at math/science   you will probably make more money"  ---- hey--- any port in a storm.... *** never in 100 years did i think i wold get a compliment on my english  ( or as teh british would say  "american language") ***** I WANTED TO TAKE A MOMENT TO PRAISE YOU FOR YOUR USE OF THE WORD "LYING" WHEN DISCUSSING MO IN THE DD.  I'VE NOTICED THAT ALMOST ALL OF THE YOUNGER PEOPLE USE "LAYING" RATHER THAN "LYING".  HENS LAY EGGS, HORSES LIE DOWN - LOL!  IT'S JUST ONE OF MY PET PEEVES.  ANOTHER IS "BRING" AND "TAKE". MY GRANDSON TELLS ME THAT VERY LITTLE TIME IS SPENT ON GRAMMAR IN SCHOOL DUE TO THE NUMBER OF OTHER (MODERN) THINGS THAT HAVE TO BE TAUGHT.  I'M JUST AN OLD FOGEY HERE BUT YOUR USE OF "LYING DOWN" MADE MY MORNING.  PATHETIC ISN'T IT?  LOL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CARLENE.  YOU AND YOUR GROUP AT CRAZY ACRES ARE TRULY LOVED BY MANY PEOPLE.  FOR MY ENTERTAINMENT TODAY I'M GOING TO WATCH "HOARDERS" - IT ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL SUPERIOR.  ANOTHER PERSONALITY FLAW I'M AFRAID. *** mine is can and may-- ***** got to write a nice letter to pet air today--  meanwhile stack up the pile of  nice new crates we are getting from  them
