just for fun..w e put mo's harness on her yesterday.. along with tom... there were " 2 city kids" here who alon with 3 pounds of catrrots did get teh harness on and walk her aound on camera...... tehre was a look of panic in mo's eyes when that collar went on... she spent alot of her life pulling something... probably a plow in amish country... so now that she is relaxed, we need to get her to realize hard work is over.. she must now contend with goofey people... but the carrots are good.-- when she got here, i don't think she had ever been hand fed...life was get up, go to work, back to the barn, eat food, and sleep, and get up etc...not unlike i see the peolpl commutting in to boston on rt 95-- i think even amish plow horses get sunday off... not sure.. but with everyoe going to church maybe...i do know se needs some more handling to get to relax and stand around for photos and things like that.... maybe today we could put the harness on without the bridle and just let her stand around... hopefully nothing will get caught on the harness... because ,.... until you have sat behind a pair of draft horses you have no idea of the concept of horse power...-- we did not do a good job a dogfest with people pulling against her... she had no idea and it took her 3 leaps to get all 4 feet on the ground an d pull teh 15 or so people behind her on a lon rope.-- we need to do that again... but with her understanding what to do...

THERE IS A BUZZER THAT BUZZES WHEN THE GATE IS OPENING OR SHUTTING...
PEOPLE DO SOMETHING AT THE WHITE UPSIDE DOWN BUCKET THAT MAKES THE BUZZER BUZZ
SHE HAS BEEN SEEN MANY TIMES PLAYING WITH THAT WHITE BUCKET FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN SHE REALIZES IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE GATE BUZZING.
THE ONLY OTHER DONKEY REPORT IS THAT POCKETS IS NOT HER USUAL PLAYFUL SELF LATELY... NOT SURE WHY.. SO I WANT TO LET HER OUT TODAY TO BREAK UP HER HUMDUM ROUTINE.

AND THEN THERE CAME TE TRUCKING STRIKE... MANY OF THE AMISH PROVIDED MILK TO THE HERSHEY PLANT IN PENNA- AND WHEN THE TRUCKERS STRUCK, MILK WAS BEING DUMPED FOR LACK OF TRANSPORTING ACROSS THE PICKET LINES OF HERSHEY... THEN THE AMISH, BELIEVING THAT WASTE WAS SINFULL GOT IN WAGONS AND HAULED THIER MILK ACROSS TEH PICKET LINES AS THEY HAD SOMEON E RIDING SHOTGUN.. LITERALLY.. WITH RIFLE ACROSS THEIR LAP... AND NO ONE STOPPED THEM...

AND WE HAD AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TO ADI SOMEONE APPLIED FOR A DOG-- THIER DIAGNOSIS WAS NOT SOMETHING WE TRAIN DOGS FOR... SO HE MADE AN OFFICAL COMPLAINT TO ADI ---- I DISCRIMINATED AGAINST HIM BECAUSE OF HIS DISABILITY...

SUCH AN AMAZING INFLUENCE HE HAS HAD ON HER LIFE! AS WE APPROACH ALMOST A YEAR WITH FINN WE CAN HARDLY REMEMBER WHAT LIFE IS LIKE WITHOUT HIM.
