i bought that bed that can raise head and feet to comfortable positions for tv or reading... well --with me it is tv lately to watch what donald has said.. - HOWEVER what they don't tell you in the fine print is that ... when you loose electricity... it stays folded into a v shape.. which makes sleeping in it possible only if you try to sleep across the fold. until th epower comes back on when it does a few more random things because you are lying on the remote somewhere in th e folds if the bedding.---which has also turned on the air conditioner.
it was an exciting night.
other electrical fyi-- that electric gate as a back up battery that enables the gate to function normally for another 50 open/shut sequences... if it is stuck, it is stuck in the snow.. not because the power is off.
another discussion for the day..
we get alot of people wanting to come here and learn to train dogs..--i have 2 obtuse comments on the topic.
1.---before i got started i looked around and several aadi accredited facilities offered training classes-- namely lu at ecad in torrington conn.-- for $5000 ecad would give me a course in training service dogs... so i looked into it- and they sent me a sample first lesson--first lesson / discussion was "dogs smell with their noses"--- well i kind of figured that out long ago and anything else was not going to be worth th e$5000 or the time i would have to spend at ecad to get this "training degree"--
2.---- i think megan volunteered here about a year before i promoted her to kennel cleaning- which at that point the kennel was so bad she and i had to chip away down to the concrete floor in kennel 9.. i remember it......- her super attention to detail made me decide to hammer into her the basics of dane training -- and her takes on the proceedure of the volume of my corrections ould astound a normal person... i could sit in tht t tent and tell her simply how to hold a leash when she was in the back of the arena... she suffered for the education...
point being -- it ain't an easy progression... nor is it automatic.. some can... some can't-- but you don't get to be called a "trainer" by me until i have seen it.
