AND THEY COULD FIRE ME...

WHAT WE DO NEED IS MORE PUBLICITY IN NEW ENGLAND-- WHEN THESE 31 DOGS BEGIN TO "HATCH' WE COULD BE ABLE TO BE VERY TIMELY - TOUGH PART IS NOT EVERYONE IS A GOOD MATCH.. WE DO TRY...

Thought I would give you an Emmett update. Things are going excellent I use him to do everything while out in public. We have a busy day, which usually starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 5 PM. We start by having coffee at the beach to watch the waves roll in and hopefully this will get him over his fear of the ocean. Then we head to a park to watch squirrels, this has helped him to get over his urge to chase them. When we returned home we headed out to the gym and any other appointments I may have, but I also take him to where he needs work like Walmart, the mall, or around noisy kids. With Kati's advice and direction we have jumped many hurdles.(I would be so lost without her help) We head home for lunch and take a nap and then in the afternoon we will go out to more places, like the hospital where we walk all around and practice his down/stay in busy areas. While we are out in public we practice stairs, me falling, curbs and any other new experience I can find.
People are amazed when they watch us in action and I have learned to insulate Emmett from them because he works so much better.
He will have his dinner about 5 PM and is usually in a coma by six.
We are picking up the cake tomorrow morning and will bring it by the Plymouth Massachusetts fire department, we got a large cake because there are seven fire stations in town, I will send some good photos.
This is the best full-time job I could ever have!
