WHO KNEW??
THAT HAVING EXLORE CAMERAS WOULD MEAN PUTTING EXTRA LALLY COLUMNS IN THE CELLAR TO DEAL WITH THE POUNDAGE OF PEOPLE WALKING THRU HERE TO SEE THE LITTLE PUPPIES...
SO LAST NIGHT ANOTHER...WHO KNEW.??..
THAT HAVING THESE CAMERAS WOULD MEAN CANCELING A AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD???
WE WERE GIVEN THIS NEW MIC SO PEOPLE COULD HEAR ALL THE QUESTIONS AT MAIL CALL
AND IT WORKS... HOWEVER IT ALSO WORKS 97% WHEN GRACE CALLS IN OUR TAKEOUT DINNER FROM THE OTHER ROOM.... AND READS IN MY CHARGE CARD...TWO PEOPLE CALLED ME AN D ONE.. FROM TEXAS CALLED TO SAY IT WAS ON THE VIDEO.. SO I ASKED HER TO GO LISTEN AND TELL ME THE NUMBERS..... SHE HAD ONLY ONE NUMBER WRONG......

SO I CALLED AMERICAN EXPRESS TO VERIFY THE LAST CHARGE-- AND CANCEL THAT CARD--- THEY WERE EXTREMELY EFFICIENT N SAYING THEY WOULD GET THE NEXT TO ME AS SOON AS I HUNG UP THE PHONE.
WE ARE A GOOD CUSTOMER-- PARTICULAARLY FOR GAS IN THE TRAINING VEHICLES...

MY EXCITEMET OF TODAY...IS ..I TIED MY SHOES !!-
DOESN'T SOUND LIKE MUCH BUT FIRST PAIR OS SNEAKERS SINCE THE ACCIDENT...
.BETWEEN A BODY THAT WOULDN'T BEND AND HANDS
THAT COULD NOT DEAL WITH SHOE LACES--
I FORCED THE ISSUE AND GOT THEM TIED -- WITH DOUBLE KNOTS. !!
BY THE TIME I OT THEM TIED I WAS EXHAUSTED AND NEARLY HAD TO GO BACK TO BED... BUT I AM NOW UP...
SOMEWHERE THERE IS A BROADWAY SONG....
DON'T PASS THE PLATE BUD
DON'T PASS THE CUP
WHENEVER YOU FIGURE YOU'RE DOWN AND OUT
THE ONLY WAY IS UP....... I FORGET WHERE THAT CAME FROM...
THE BASIC PROBLEM IS-- YOU CAN TAKE TEH PAIN KILLERS AND FEEL LOVELY AS LONG AS YOU DON'T PUT ANY FOOD IN YOUR TUMMY. PAIN KILLERS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PROCESSING OF FOOD. HECK OF A CHOICE.. FOR ME-----WALKING OR EATING... AND I DO LOVE MY WHIPPED CREAM ... AS YOU ALL KNOW.
AN ACCIDENT REVIEW PERSON IS COMING HERE TODAY-IN PREP, I DID LOOK OVER OUR 990 FORM WHERE I HAVE TO LIST THE HOURS I DONATE TO RUNNING SDP.. FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS THE 990 IRS FORM LISTS THAT I SPEND 80 HOURS A WEEK WORKING ON SDP-- A CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE...-- NOT TRUE THIS LAST WEEK !

WE HAD MANY COMMENTS ABOUT RACHAEL'S CARE OF BELLA'S SERVICE DOG GEORGE. RACHAEL IS A GOOD WRITER---
*****
HERE IS ANOTHER "WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A SERVICE DOG" EMAIL I GOT FROM DIDI
******
Thank you for posting regarding service dog care and needs as
well as for Rachael's succinct letter regarding the care of and needs
of Service Dogs. I totally agree with you and
Rachael. There is a lot to do in order to appropriately care for these
amazing service dogs...best friends, companions, and, yes, caretakers.
It's more than just feeding, watering, brushing, and taking outside and
poo picking. It's important to notice all the small things...scratches or
slightly off gait, or tiredness, needs for love and attention.
Every season, I change out DiDis emergency kit supplies to match
her travel weather needs. Winter requires booties and jacket,
summer requires a back window sun blocker screen, and her car kit
always contains blankets, fluffier, and snacks; also included are bowels
, food, water, leash, collar, first aid kit ( gas ex tabs, blood
stop powder, pedialite, bandage wraps, drool cloths, towel, etc.). However,
having said that, my service dog is worth every effort and ounce of energy.
I again, am so very grateful for DiDis support and guidance. I now depend on
Her to get me up curbs, which I can't do without her. It seems small, but without
her help and support I am stuck in a parking lot looking at the store without
the ability to go in. It's really a very helpless feeling. I have lost a lot of independence
due to my disability and am so grateful for a calming companion to help me
regain it. There were times in Europe when my husband would be busy filling the
rental car gas tank and I couldn't go into the store to use the bathroom because
he wasn't able to help me at that moment, or having to have his help getting to the
bathroom In a restaurant, having to wait for him to help me walk to look at what
I was interested in at the markets, etc. My service dog is amazing and wonderful
In supporting me and blessing my life.
Thank you all again,

Karen and DiDi
