JAN 7 2016

I WENT TO BED AND GOT UP AND SOMEHOW THAT CREATED A SCRAPBASKET FULL OF TRASH.
FOR EXAMPLE.....TO MAKE MATTERS MORE CLEAR.....----- I HAVE TO BY 2 FLASH DRIVES TODAY, AND THOSE TINY "BIC LIGHTER" THINGS WILL COME IN PACKAGING WHICH IS A- HUGE and   B-  IMPENETRABLE CAUSING ME TO USE A SMALL "BOX CUTTER" ( WHICH CAME SIMILARLY PACKAGED) WITH WHICH I WILL CUT MY FINGER AND NEED A BANDAGE WHICH IN IT'S STERILE PACKAGING- WILL BRING THE TRASH UP TO ABOUT  .5  CUBIC FOOT.

YOU ALL HAVE HEARD ME SAY  THE GUY WHO COLLECTS OUR TRASH IS MORE CRITICAL TO ME THAN THE PRESIDENT OF THE US... - OR CERTAINLY ANY MEMBER OF CONGRESS....
THE AMT OF TRASH WE PRODUCE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS ATTENTION.  I READ A BOOK ABOUT A WOMAN IN NEW YORK WHO  FOLLOWED EVERY ITEM IN HER  ONE DAY'S TRASH TO IT'S FINAL RESTING PLACE--- IF I HAD TO GUESS IT WAS "GARBAGE LAND"    AND THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK ( JUST ORDERED ) ON  GARBALOGY-  WHICH IS NOW BECOMING REQUIRED READING IN HIGHSCHOOL-- AS IT SHOULD BE.... THE TOPIC FASCINATES ME- AND HOW USELESS MOST OF IT IS...-- BIRDS HAVE FLASHY PLUMAGE TO ATTRACT PARTNERS... WE HAVE FLASHY PACKAGING  WHICH  HAS NO SIMILARLY WORTHWHILE PURPOSE. ..... EXCEPT TO MAYBE PREVENT SHOPLIFTING????

YOU COULD CARRY THIS TO THE EXTREME OF THE SIZE STORE/ REALESTATE NEEDED TO MARKET  ALL THIS COULD BE REDUCED BY 84%- JUST LOOK DOWN A 20' AISLE AT BEST BUY AND THINK... WITHOUT THE PACKAGING YOU WOULD NOT NEED MORE THAN 2' OF DISPLAY AREA.

CHINA AND TRASH--- SOMEWHERE I READ THAT ALONG WITH TAKING OUR MANUFACTURING, CHINA ALSO INHERITED OUR TRASH AND POLUTION PROBLEMS  WHICH THEY WERE SLOW TO ADDRESS....  MEANING THAT CHINA HAS SOMEOF THE MOST AMAZING  DUMPS  IN THE WORLD.  THAT SAME "SOMEWHERE" I SAW PICTURES .  AND I HAVE OFTEN SEEN BREATHING MASKS BECAUSE OF THE AIR QUALITY. SO MOVING OUR  MANFG  WAS NOT ALL BAD...THE  PROBLEM THERE IS   THE STUFF DRIFTS ----I KNOW THIS FROM MY DAYS STUDYING FALLOUT PATERNS--
THANK HEAVENS THE PACIFIC OCEAN DOES HELP WITH THAT.
I LOOK FORWARD TO MY BOOK ON GARBALOGY.
*******
NOW TEH POO REPORT
ALL THE  PUPS THAT  HAD BEEN SICK ARE BACK TO NOT ONLY  SOFT SERVE,  BUT BROWN !!!-- AND  WITH A FEW CYLINDARS... SO LIFE I LOOKING UP.. I HAVE EMAILED GEORGE ASKING WHEN WE CAN RE-INTRODUCE THEM TO THE GENERAL POPULATION.
*******
AND THEN THERE IS BAILEY'S EARS-- I HAVE NEVER SEEN WORSE- AND THEY ITCH.. SO PLAN IS TO GET A SWAB ON A SLIDE AND TAKE IT TO GEORGE TODAY AND SEE IF HE CAN COME UP WIH A CONCOCTION TO STOP THE ITCH.
*****
ITCH-- LIKE GARBAGE IS ANOTHER CONCERN OF MINE-- YOU CAN TAKE A PILL FOR ANYTHING THAT ACHES-- BUT I KNOW OF NO PILL FOR   AN ITCH  OF ANY KIND.
THERE IS A NEED-- WHY DOESN' T SOME PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY GET ON THAT BANDWAGON??
*****
HEATHER HAS DONE A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON THE  DISC FOR TEH EXPERIMENT OF LONG DISTANCE CHICKEN SHATING
TO BE ANNOUNCED LATER...
**********
THE MAIL CALL APPETIZER OF A TRAINER ANSWERING QUESTIONS AT 4:45 AS AN INTRO TO MAIL CALL  HAS BEEN A SUCCESS-- NOW WE NEED TO GET MORE TRAINED TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT TRAINING ... AND I THINK THE SCHOOL KIDS IN OTHER  TIME ZONES MIGHT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE BETTER.
HAVE AT IT !!!  GET QUESTONS  IN THE COMMENT COLUMN AND SHE CAN ANSWER ON THE MIC...
FUN SO FAR...

2016 WE HAVE MADE A FEW CHANGES- THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NEW YEAR... AND MORE TO DO WITH THE LOSS OF POWER.....I MEAN... HOW COULD I SAY... " IN THIS 2016 YEAR I RESOLVE TO REPLACE FLASHLIGHT BATTERIS

Good morning Carlene,

I just wanted to express my thanks to you with the following:

I love coming up there, and hope to be able to come back soon - yes even in winter!  SDP has become a stress release for me no matter the circumstances there at the time.  Whether it be a bizillion puppies, tons of loads of laundry, sick people and/or dogs or even the very generous but PITA Richard (LOL), it is still a place of refuge for me. I have never, and I do mean that, never, felt more welcomed by a group of strangers before.  My first visit was full of trepidation for myself for many reasons, but as I left that first time I was filled with a sense of belonging to something that was greater than myself.  When the CP's talk about SDP changing our lives, it really is true.  I know that your mission is to change the recipients lives and that the dogs live happy fulfilled lives, but the reality is that that change extends far beyond what I think you may have envisioned.  SDP really does change the lives of all those involved.
So thanks for allowing me to come and visit and work and laugh and break bread and love on the dogs and the people of SDP!  And I will hopefully be contacting Pam soon about my next visit!
