JAN 3 2016
SHATUPON SUNDAY !!!
I AM DELIGHTED TO FIND THERESA HAS THE NUMBERS ALREADY PRINTED.....
-BECAUSE WHAT A MESS IT WOULD BE IF THE PRINTER DECIDED NOT TO WORK...  WHICH IT OFTEN DOES...
THIA SHATTING MAY  HAVE TO BE IN THE ARENA-- AND BUD HAS THE BULLET HEATER WORKING
SO IT MAY NOT BE IMPOSSIBLE.....TODAY ISN'T TOO BAD....  THAT WOUOLD BE ON CAMERA...
 STARTING TO NUMBER ABOUT 2:30

I AM WONDERING ABOUT THE EXTREME COLD- LIKE MAYBE NEXT MONTH--- THAT TABLE IS  ? 8 X 10
MAYBE MORE DROP TARPS AROUND THE T TENT-- WITH THAT FIREPLACE MAYBE WE COULD HEAT THAT BETTER
HAVE TO EXPERIMENT BEFORE NEXT MONTH...

THE OLDER I GET-- THE LESS I CONSIDER COLD INVIGORATING .
I OUTGREW RIDING A MOTORCYCLE  IN THE RAIN FOR THE SAME REASON..
HOW BAD AM I????
I LOVE MY REMOTE STARTER--- I HAVE DRIVEN SO MANY CARS THAT DIDN'T START-- REMOTELY OR  OTHERWISE,
*******
PLAN OF THE DAY

TRY COSTCO AGAIN...WENT THERE YESTERDAY AND THERE WASN'T EVEN ROOM TO PARK AND WAIT FOR
SOMEONE TO BACK OUT- GRIDLOCK-- NOT HELPED BY THE FACT THAT  THERE WAS A FIRETRUCK AND AMBULANCE
DOUBLE PARKED RIGHT IN FRONT.

FOR ABOTU 45 MIN I COULD NOT MOVE--
THAT GAVE ME A CHANCE SIT AND CHAT WITH THE FIRETRUCK DRIVER  WE HAD A GOOD TIME WONDERING  WHY PEOPLE BOUGHT CERTAIN THINGS AS THE CARTS DRIFTED BY.  I WAS FACED THE OPPOSITE WAY FROM HIM OR I WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED HIM OUT
I FINALLY MADE IT ACROSS AND DOWN THE TRUCK ENTRANCE BEHIND THE BUILDING-- THE MAIN DRIVE WAS NOT MOVING.

******
SO WE HAD TO ORDER DINNER-- AND THAT HAS BECOME IT'S OWN GAME---
LAST TIME WE ORDERED DINNER-- RENEE  ( IN GEORGIA)FIGURED OUT WHICH RESTAURANT AND PAID THE BILL-- WHICH SHOCKED AND DELIGHTED  US.... NOT WANTING TO APPEAR TO BA ASKING FOR THAT , I SHUT THE MIKE OFF WHILE I ORDERED....
HERE IS THE SHOCKER THIS TIME.....  THE PHONE RANG ALMOST IMMEDIATELY-- IT WAS RENEE-- SOMEONE HAD BEATEN HER TO BUYING US DINNER
THANK YOU ----TROLLY AND NANCY FROM NEWHOLLING PA- FOR PICKING  UP THE TAB- THEN WE HEARD FROM THE RESTAURANT THAT THEY HAD 2 OTHER CALLS TRYING TO BUY OUR DINNER.... IT WAS TOUGH TO TRY AND EXPLAIN THAT...
AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE ARE ALL TIRED AND I USUALLY HAVE SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES MINIMAL PREP-- LIKE COSTCO LASAGNA... OR EVEN THE RACK OF LAMB CHOPS ARE NOT LABOR INTENSIVE..
BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO BUY ANYTHING AT COSTCO-- SO WE ORDERED.. THEIR FOOD IS GOOD AND THEY DELIVER...-- AND BEATS TOO MUCH CHINESE FOOD AND PIZZA..
******
THIS CRAZY ARMY MARCHES ON...
*******
I am the caretaker of my 90 year old father which on many days is a 24 hour job. He has terminal cancer.
I just want the people of SDP to know what joy watching these pups online brings me.
I can go from tears of exhaustion, instantly to a smile when watching these beautiful pups.
You are helping more people than you will ever know. Thank you.

FROM DONALD SWANN AND MICHAEL FLANDERS(BRITISH)

A Song of the Weather

January brings the snow,
Makes your feet and fingers glow.

February's ice and sleet
Freeze the toes tight off your feet.

Welcome March with wintry wind
Would thou wert not so unkind!

April brings the sweet spring showers,
On and on for hours and hours.

Farmers fear unkindly May
Frost by night and hail by day.

June just rains and never stops
Thirty days and spoils the crops.

In July the sun is hot.
Is it shining? No, it's not.

August, cold and dank and wet,
Brings more rain than any yet.

Bleak September's mist and mud
Is enough to chill the blood.

Then October adds a gale,
Wind and slush and rain and hail.

Dark November brings the fog
Should not do it to a dog.

Freezing wet December, then
Bloody January again!
