-- to continue the jelley bean discussion
.....i bought a toothbrush at costco  and it came with a 17 page booklet on how to use it...-- well .. it was an electric toothbrush which was somewhere between  a toy and medically useful--  but  i was relieved to see for a small fee they would extend my warrantee  to 2.5 years  even loss  due to theft ( in the small print)
being a student of probability.....if you could  call me a student of anything.....  i had not heard that theft of toothbrushes was on the rise..  but there is that insurance company ready to help....
i wonder who bought that... and are they allowed to vote?
my other toothbrush problem was the amt of trash produced by that one purchase-- namely 3 heavy formed   10 x 15"  plastic that  would not fit in the trashbasket.
you know mommy nature is gonna have a problem when trash produced does not fit in a normal trash container and is made of stuff garenteed to last 1307 years.
all for one toothbrush.

on to the DD educational section   the question of the post office  extra charge on a square letter.
I’m a CP but do not post.  I watched Saturday’s mail call when you mentioned your story about the lady at the post office saying if the envelope had been square, there would have been an extra charge.  My husband is a postal employee and I asked him why that would have been the case.  He said a normal letter is rectangular and the automated equipment is designed to handle rectangular letters.  If the letter is in a square envelope, the automated equipment can’t handle it…thus the extra charge.  Hope that helps.
? who knew?  doesn't matter for a letter or two--- but  a mass mailing could be  alarming

i just bought a nearly square envelope to mail out all the  "gift bricks" announcement people are telling me  to send  -- these $10 numbered bricks are a very popular gift for those who don't need anything anyway-- and such fun at possibly becoming a member of the Shatupon Society of Ipswich !!!  buy a brick- email me the address and number and i will send a card announcing your gift.   strange?  yes but fun...

kiara is having a few lessons in the perils of group living-- and the legality of "possession is 9/10ths the law"    chewing the other end of someone's bone can be dangerous--- as is biting bailey's feet whilel she is sleeping.

she willingly eats from a spoon-- but we must make can noises  as her first lesson in paying attention to specific noises... she has no  "puppy puppy puppy" that is the megan march routine.  i thinnki we can start it easier with spoon on can noises..

and she is on medication..  i was very relieved to have  the vet tech say there was no sign of diabetic problem in the sample we took--  just looked like a minor uti-- and if it does not clear- then we can go for a sterile sample ( not an easy thing.)

cute pup
.. lively pup...
... will be fun to bring along... we have a few things to get rid of... slowing her down for openers...  she is learning -- thanks to the "old girls"  bailey and chaos.

Hi Carlene,

Pandora is doing great.  We just had over 6 feet of snow and she took it like a champ.  She will even go out now when it rains.   She wasn't that keen on playing in that much snow but liked going out to be nosy once in a while.  We have been visiting nursing homes and she is doing really well.   The residents all love her and smile when they see her coming.   She is doing well with leave it when there are things on the floor.  The last picture shows Pandora with her antlers on ... everyone one loves that she doesn't mind and keeps them on.   We are getting ready for the holidays and it must be exciting at crazy acres.  Pandora does so much good here at work, I have people coming into my office all day long just to see her.
Merry Christmas,
Debbie and Pandora
