take a bucket day...... the tendency to make great long lists of what to do when the butter churn paddle sticks is great-- however peter did come up with a reminder.
CAN YOU PLEASE REMIND ELIZABETH AND CARLY THAT ABSOLUTELY NO WASHCLOTHS, HAND TOWELS, SOCKS, SLIPPERS OR UNDERWEAR SHOULD BE OUT IN THE HOUSE AS THEY ARE LIFE THREATENING FOR LARKY? OR PUT A BIG REMINDER UP SO THEY DON'T FORGET WHILE YOU'RE AWAY?
FUN MAILCALL!----HAVE A FUN TRIP!
wonderful reminder--- that's what is so mind boggling-- who would have thought that in leaving the place for a few days that i would have to remind anyone that all their socks and underwear must go directly to th e washing machine-- and not be neatly stored in a laundry cart...
so....... yes.. for the first time ( i think ) in about 30 years i am leaving the property for a few days... /sandy in tenna offered me a place to go and relax-----and all my friends and relatives here offered to pay and get me out of town for a few days--- took a collection -- enough to fly me first class-- which i also have never done.--
let me be perfectly clear-- i hate to fly----but time to make an exception.... so i sent my "luggage" ( cardboard box) ups with enough rope and twine to keep me busy for a few days--- clothes??? i wear a uniform-same thing every day - saves alot of confusion. dressed up means add a beautiful scarf- which i own but can't find..?how beautiful? i remember ann getchell telling me it was soo nice and expensive that i never even heard the name... but i;m like the doctor in the covid tv's. who just kept changing her scarf... .
i will try and send the makings of the dd-- but between eliz, judy, carlie and janine-- maybe i should just let them write it... i think i have over 4000 "out there" i have not missed too many...and the new mail call-- they tell me they can walk me thru it long distance--- all i can say is stay tuned for the latest fiasco-
( now there is a name for the next pup..)
i did some bookeeping--- i am thrilled to say--- even with the few extra equines-- the ERN hay bill for jan thru wednesday was $28. all the rest was paid for by you kind souls-- so they have more of their money to spend on vet bills and purchasing animals---- something i have no part of... i am purely on hay detail. now... at the moment---ERN is a charity (with a 501 c3 number) so hay bale money gets depositede to thier account, then i bill ERN -- because it was my pocket money which actually paid the guy with the hay- what i am doing with any extra fun fund money is to record it on the "welcome to" the hay bales screen
because- again at the moment it is not big enough to warrant a new account. i think this deposit to ern includes $107 IN BILLS FOR THE FUN FUND... DULY NOTED ON THE HAY BALES ACCOUNT.
there again... if the plane only goes 3/4 the way to nashville, someone will have to explain that to elizabeth...
am i nervous? who me??? nervousssssss????
