i am verY pleased with our direction... yesterday we had another person looking for a replacement dog-- they hd paid $20.000 for thier first... WORKED WELL FOR 8 YEARS. BUT THE FACILITY WOULD NOT CONSIDER REPLACING THE DOG-- EVEN FOR ANOTEHR $50,000-- SOMEHOW THANKS TO OUR CP'S AND TEH SHATUPON SOCIETY..... WE ARE MANAGING ENTRELY DIFFERENTLY. OUR DOGS REMAIN FREE OF CHARGE TO THOSE WE THINK OUR DOGS CAN HELP-- AND REST ASSURED THAT IS NOT EVERYONE... AND SO FAR. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REPLACE DOGS NEEDING REPLACEMENT...IT IS ALL. YOU FOLK WITH YOUR SHATUPON SOCIETY !! AND OUR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS... WE HAVE NO $150,000 MANAGEMENT.....SO IF WE SLIP AND SLIDE THRU DECISIONS... LOOK AT THAT PROCESS AS A HUGE MONEY SAVER....

THE FIRST COLUMN IS"OUT THERE..." MINUS A PHOTO... -- I HAVE SO MUCH TO FIGURE OUT....AND WILL MEET WITH THE EDITOR NEXT WEEK..THERE WAS A DISCUSSION ... IS TEH AN ARTICLE OR AN ADVERTISEMENT... WHICH WOULD CONTROL WHERE THE PIECE WAS PPLACED AND HOW. -- MY FEELING IS THAT A WEEKLY STRIP OF INFO. WITH. cartoon WOULD DO GREAT THINGS FOR US WITH THE LOCALS WHO DON'T KNOW WE ARE HERE... THE CLOSER WE GET TO AN AD THE MORE LATTITUDE -- YET TO BE DECIDED...
I CERTAINLY DON'T MIND DOING IT ... IN THIS WEATEHRE IT IS PERFECT TO SIT IN FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE AND BE PRODUCTIVE AT THE SAME TIME...

THERE IS A "NEIGHBORHOOD TODAY" WHICH COMES OUT IN MY EMAIL. -- TODAYS QUESTION IS "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THERE IS NO WATER? ". MUST BE PEOPLE STRAIGHTOUT OF FLORIDA... WELCOME TO NEW ENGLAND.YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT HAIR DRYERS AND FROST FREE TAPE--- AND EVEN 4H KIDS LEARNING HOW TO DEFROST A FAUCET WITH THE CUP OF WARM WATER THEY ALWAYS HAVE WITH THEM.... -

MAYBE....WITH BENTLEY SLIGHTLY LIMPING- IT IS SOOOOO. ANNOYING TO HAVE SOMEONE IMMEDIATLEY SAY ALL DANES HAVE. HIP. DYSPLASIA. AND THE DOG WORLD GETS ON THAT BANDWAGON QUICKLY. HIS JOINTS AND WAY OF GOING HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SUPER....
TWO THINGS. I HAVE NOTICED,,, HE JUMPED OUT OF THE CAR ONE DAY AND "OUCHED". I NOTICED IT WAS ONTO HOT TOP WHERE THER WERRE PEBLES... HE IS 168 POUNDS... LANDING ON 2 FRONT PWS... -- GO AHEAD YOU ENGINEERS -- FIGURE THE PUOD OF PRESSURE ON THOSE 2 FEET. WITH A PEBBLE INVOLVED... NOW TO GET OUT OF THE CA R, I PUT DOWN A TOWEL FOR HIM.. -- THAT WOUOLD BE THE BEST CASE..... THE WORST CASE IS... I HAV NOTICE D FOR OVER 6 MONTHS HE IS LICKING AT HIS ANKLE.... NOT CONSTABNT BUT VERY OFTEN... THAT IS THE SAME PLACE "BROWNIE" USED TO LICK BEFORE IT TOTALLY BECAME OBVIOUS IT WAS A CANCEROUS TUMOR.. I HAVE RUBBED HIS LEG ALL OVER AND MOVED ALL JOINTS. I GET NO RESPONSE... I CAN HEAR IT NOW... QUICK GO HAVE AN XRAY AND FIND OUT---AND THEN NOT BE ABLE TO DO QA THING ABOUT IT... WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD THE XRAY MAKE...-- IF THERE IS ONE- I WILL CERTAINLY GO AND DO IT... BUT IF IT IS ONLY TO UPSET THE REST OF HIS LIFE, I WON'T... THE ONLY REAL PROBLEM ATT H MOMENT IS JUMPING AND LANDING ON THOSE PAWS ON THE HOT TOP---------- OK I CAN DEAL- WITH A HEAVY TOWEL...

Just wanted to share with you how your teachings help many far and wide.
My neighbor across the street who had to put dog down earlier last year got a chocolate lab from someone she worked with who could not longer keep her due to a divorce. They have had her for about 3 months and the dog started nipping her( not her husband, just her), so she went out and bought a muzzle. I ran into her on Friday while I was out shoveling and she was walking the dog with the muzzle on. She explained to me why and I told her about tapping the nose like you taught all of us and she said she would try it. She called me today to tell me it only took her doing it twice and her dog no longer is nipping her, if she even starts too all she has to do is show her her fingers and she stops….She is a happy camper that she doesn’t have to muzzle her.
